Monday Is Stepping It Up A Bit....

Apparently the driver was distracted.
Once again the local news has just reported that two high school students died today in a crash. The driver went off the road, over corrected, hit a culvert & went into oncoming traffic. Both students were killed & passengers/drivers in other vehicles were injured. The investigation now in early stages points to distracted driving. Also this week the driver of a Freightliner failed to compensate for slowed traffic in a construction zone & crashed into a passenger vehicle & killed three people. There is NOTHING important enough on a cell phone to endanger yourself & others while driving. PUT DOWN THAT PHONE!

Another report said the high school students hit a tractor trailer & were ejected instead of hitting a passenger car. I don't know which report is correct. If they did hit a truck that driver will live with this tragedy the rest of his life.
