Secretary of Transportation, Elaine Chao attended a news conference this morning at the Iowa Truck Center, off I-380,to answer concerns from trucking companies about the possibility of Iranian cyberattacks affecting the production of truck mirrors for Volvo Corporation. She assured company representatives that the POTUS is monitoring the situation, along with help from Ukrainian computer experts. A dispatcher from Cedar Rapids based Coop Dispatch said she was especially concerned, since their company alone needs at least 100 sets of replacement mirrors weekly. It was not immediately clear though if a shortage could, or would develop.
