I am talking about feeder drivers. Not Overnite. Or UPS LTL.
 
The other night linehaul directed us to SIT full boxes in our yard and send drivers going to that terminal on EMPTIES so someone could come threw on a via to grab that freight. Yes it was freight that needed broke at the FAC.

But it wasn’t his money UPS paid into to that for him. I rather have my own money so I can control it. .... dah! Why would I want someone else to pay into my retirement?
I should pay for my retirement! Pensions suck ,I would tell them to shove that 4,100 a month !

This week alone 3 different nights we had freight sit . 2 of those nights the trailer sitting had freight from 2 of the barns biggest shippers . One of the customers found out their freight didn’t move and started making phone calls , was not happy at all . Yes we had a driver available to move it . Managers excuse , he would have come back from the FAC empty ! Great , I say Great customer service ! Remember , it’s all about the customer ! We hear that all through the year . Pretty soon it will be ... what customers ??

Cut and gut. Slash and cash. If they could just get rid of more of these customers. They wouldn't have so much freight. And wouldn't need all these drivers. Or all these trucks. Just think how much more profitable this company would be !!!!

Yep. The numbers. I get it the economy is tight. I get it. But your not going to keep customers in a tight economy by sitting their freight. If this is the new plan, then be honest with your customers and tell them it’s an extra day service.
