XPO | When You Realize The Kid Running The Taco Bell Makes As Much Or More Than You

If this is what it pays to sell tacos, what are these kids doing working here as FOSs for ? Most of them are probably making less than half that. I doubt the FOMs even make half that. Maybe close. Depends on tenure. But still a good bit less than $100K.
Although we complain a lot there are some enjoyable moments on clear open road , cant be too much of that at taco place

A Tenured city or linehaul driver makes double what an FOS makes.

That’s true. A member of management would never be in a position like that. But. If our profession can’t even keep up with the compensation at taco stands. It might not be getting any easier to find wheel holders.

Pretty easily. I have in the past had some jealous ones ask me what makes drivers worth what they make. And I tell them. Because no one will do this work for that little. We can’t hardly get people to do it for what drivers make now.

When I worked delivering to Domino's pizza stores back in the mid 90's, there were store mangers making over $100k per year back then. Makes me wander what they are making now

There are some terrifying moments where I truly thought I might die or kill someone. Can’t be to much of that at taco place.
Check YouTube search Taco Bell Robbery. I'm not saying it doesn't happen to truckers, but the last time I got in my truck no one was bitching out there food

The manger at a Taco Bell is more like your SCM not an FOS or FOM.
Also this is only be tested selected markets. It's only for company owned stores. They did say the currently mangers are paid $50k to $80K isn't that around and FOS or FOM pay?

Agree and disagree. Depending on you location a 40hr week for a city drive is around $62k per year. As for a LH drive is all depends on what run he has or gets. We have some senior LH drivers on short runs and a few on the long one. AT my place a LH driver is somewhere between $80K to $120K our FOS makes $60K. If freight slows down and city times are low, few via's or little to no dock time at the FAC our pay will be lower. There will always be the same.
