So it might be time to give it another shot. Lets do it!!! Everytime we get a raise of some kind they touch other parts of our benefits to even it out. We all have a voice but everyone seems to take it in because their scared of this all ending or work slowing down heavily due to the start of the union. If this place cared so much they would not take something away from us everytime they give. Then try to spoil us with "New equipment" and "New technology" look at ABF road drivers.. they are union and drive tractors no older than 3 years then get rotated. This company is big enough & strong enough that the work can still be there even with the union.....

for free food. Little do they realize it they are still paying

You been laid off lately? Yeah, neither have I.

Okay but the union doesn't guarantee you to NOT be laid off just like a non union carrier either.. that all has to do with the company itself and their decision making.. OD is laying off some and are non union so what is your point there?? And the union talks weren't for job security primarily it was for the lack of benefits and the terrible management issues we were once having and starting to have ONCE again.......
 
Nothing is a guarantee, but there is strength in numbers. At the very least our grievance procedure allows some things to happen out in the open.. Our Med. benefits are well worth the $18 a week in my dues...

I agree with strength in numbers. But right now we got more guys than work. If we had more work than guys that would be different. We got a lot of back stabbing going on just to get hours.

While the PT drivers just keep on rolling in as if they work here.... we dont know WHAT freight they are pulling, if they are bringing or taking.. but regardless whatever they are doing is not helping US fedex freight drivers and is taking work from ONE of our coworkers
