FedEx Freight | Mandatory Meetings

So.....had to do the math. $58/month dues multiply by 12 months gives you $696/year. Assume you hit out of pocket of $2000.
That is $2696/year. Divide by 52 weeks and your cost for the "free" insurance is $51.84/week. Still a good deal, no doubt. But not free
I never said that my health insurance was free, I said that my health insurance is way better than the one fedex offer to their employees.

The collective you.

Don't know how I'm included in that " collective" when my employment here only spans a few months.

I will also add that changing circumstances lead to changing opinions. Maybe everybody thought it wasn't necessary 2 years ago, but things aren't the way they were back then (so I'm told).

It's not necessary to draw a line in the sand against those that disagreed with you some time ago. If they're in agreement now unite and make your voices and concerns heard. Drivers know drivers from everywhere across the country. Corporate doesn't know anybody and only communicate via video. Them talking at us.

I stay at domicile, but you folks going from center to center are our best assets. Link up with other drivers, exchange information and see what comes of it.

I doubt the IBT has any interest after losing, and the decerts. If they do you can bet that your going to need a high percentage of cards signed.

Who the hell are you to judge that we need a union after a whopping few months on the job?

We never had the above meeting. The city drivers were surprised today when they got there stub that they got a bonus. SCM never told anyone and it wasn’t posted.

:duh:yep , when ya hide in your office and are gone
for the day or out for coffee that's what happens.
You don't talk to your drivers or care , cya...

IBT isn’t and never was the best option.Plenty of other organizations as options. The best being assist from Fed Ex pilots in forming division for drivers. They know how to deal with Fed Ex and would be willing to help I’m sure.

Our managers have been telling us for weeks there would probably be a bonus but they weren't sure how much. When they found out they told us.

And that was probably about 10 days ago. Some of you work in really :shit:ty centers.
