XPO | Trumps Trade War

Let me be clear I don’t advocate over taxing the rich or people that work hard . We need not stifle growth .

I just believe we can strike a balance and I’m sure as a nation we have enough wealth to take care of the less fortunate.
There’s no more middle ground is definitely something you can see even from this little debate.

I actually don't either but the communist reactionary is fun to poke.

The rich and corporations SHOULD pay higher taxes than they currently do, however. That's undeniable to me.

And I really am 100% for single payer healthcare for all the reasons I've mentioned in all those posts back there.

I will stop poking the guy who's terrified of communists from now on. It gave me a laugh but derailed the convo. Sorry everybody.

Terrified? That's your biases being projected. Communism fails under its own weight. You're reasoning for socialized healthcare is fundamentally flawed and you can't logically defend it. All you can advocate for is taking from those who have and giving to those who have not. Would you prefer we call it theft, confiscation or possibly Robin Hoodism? The term for what you want is Communism. Look up the definition. The fact you won't use the correct terminology for what you advocate is on you, not me.

Single Payer is nothing more than a polite euphemism just like pro choice is.

Nobody has ever worked hard enough to "earn" a billion dollars. Tax 'em.
Doesn't matter. It's theirs, not yours. You have no right to take it from them or tell them what they can do with it. As long as they are operating within the law, you have zero say. Bet they'd win, they can afford better lawyers!

If the law says we tax everything over a billion, then they are operating under the law.

That's actually not the definition if communism. It is, at the most basic level, communal ownership.

Why apologize? Mods have let it run its course. I'll not stop poking at the person who espouses confiscation of private assets. It's funny watching you twist and turn every way to justify what you want to do

I feel like I've been pretty forthcoming, kind, and mostly not reducing myself to insulting others, unlike you.

Common ownership of the means of production and absence of social classes. That's what you you want, all equal in terms of healthcare

Common ownership of the means of production. This means that the people or state would own the places that produce medical goods from needles to MRI machines.

Nationalized healthcare does not do this.

Absence of social class.

Nationalized healthcare does not destroy class stratification. England has not only national healthcare but GOVERNMENT RUN healthcare. And, guess what? They still have classes. They still have royalty for the sake of all that is good in this world.

Nationalized healthcare is not communism.
