XPO | Trumps Trade War

Thats the problem we have with any kind of single payer because those who don't pay into the system are the ones that tend to draw on it the most.

Except it isn't actually a real problem. We know this because every other country runs some sort of single payer/nationalized healthcare and this just isn't a major issue. It's just fear tactics, the same sort of nonsense Reagan spit with his 'welfare queen rhetoric' and which you've still got the sinker in your stomach from.

That may be true but someone still has to pay for it . Either through inflated insurance premiums or a single payer system. I hope that no of us are that morally bankrupt to deny someone life or death treatment based on their financial status.
I continue to here people on the right claim their party is the one with Christian values but I don’t see much of the compassion that Christ taught when it come to those less fortunate. They seem to do the complete opposite. Save the baby’s but don’t pay the bill once they are born into a bad situation.
I just don’t get it . I’m sorry if this makes anyone uncomfortable but it has to be said.
With the exception of any illegal act, getting pregnant is a choice it doesn't just happen.

Doesn't matter. It's theirs, not yours. You have no right to take it from them or tell them what they can do with it. As long as they are operating within the law, you have zero say. Bet they'd win, they can afford better lawyers!
He bitches about billionaires yet has a Facebook account, spends money on amazon, has a Google account, uses Windows on his computer, watches Bloomberg news, while is wife buys L'Oreal at Walmart. That covers 10 of the top 20 billionaires for 2019

Already addressed this nonsense argument.

Any weaknesses in these programs arent inherent in the programs themselves. It is political parties, mostly but not wholly the conservative ones, that are undermining them. The programs themselves are not fundamentally flawed.
Ah, so it was the conservative Lyndon Johnson that moved the money out of the trust fund? Very enlightening.

How is this a nonsense argument. You are supporting the billionaires and buy using or buying there service and product just line there pockets. So if you really hate billionaires then stop spending your money at companies they own.

Disclaimer: Not a Christian here. While it's true that Christ teaches us to be kind to the less fortunate, He did not teach us to be kind to the less fortunate with other peoples' money, ie the money of hard working taxpayers being used by elected officials to redistribute the wealth of a nation from the haves to the have nots. Playing an argument to the faithful by twisting scripture and using the guilt card......not cool.

I think there are a few of the 10 Commandments that cover this:
Abortion is covered under Commandment #5:
“Thou shalt not kill.”
The better translation from the Hebrew would be “Thou shalt not murder” — a subtle distinction but an important one to the Church. Killing an innocent person is considered murder. Killing an unjust aggressor to preserve your own life is still killing, but it isn’t considered murder or immoral.
As for money that covered under Commandment #7 and 10
“Thou shalt not steal.” #7
The seventh and tenth commandments focus on respecting and honoring the possessions of others. This commandment forbids the act of taking someone else’s property. The Catholic Church believes that this commandment also denounces cheating people of their money or property, depriving workers of their just wage, or not giving employers a full day’s work for a full day’s pay. Embezzlement, fraud, tax evasion, and vandalism are all considered extensions of violations of the Seventh Commandment
“Thou shalt not covet thy neighbor’s goods.” #10
The Tenth Commandment forbids the wanting to or taking someone else’s property. Along with the Seventh Commandment, this commandment condemns theft and the feelings of envy, greed, and jealousy in reaction to what other people have.
