Now that the that football sixteen week sideshow is over we can discuss baseball. I believe my Atlanta Braves will win the NL East again, but I fear one and done in the post season again. Hopefully some of these young prospects have a breakout year and they're serious contenders.

I hear the Braves has signed some free agents, Hank Aaron, Dale Murphy, Bob Horner and Chipper Jones.

Reds will win the NL Central !

REDS will trade for Lindor. And win the pennant. Indians have a massive issue in outfield. Reds have 12 ( sarcasm, but close ) outfielders and Lorenzen. So. Yeah. Lindor for pick two. Ervin and Senzel. Maybe Aquino and Jankowski. I mean it doesn't really matter. I am thinking this is going to happen. Reds are stacked. Definitely gonna be scoring some runs.

Where does Austin Riley play ? I thought signing Osuna was a stretch. Still have Markakis. Don't get it.

Riley and Camargo will compete in spring training for the starting job. Ozuna was signed to avoid playing a Markakis\Duvall platoon in left field. He turned down a 50 million, three year deal from Cincinnati to play in Atlanta. He is only going to be a one year rental, then Drew Waters will be ready to come up from AAA. I watched him a few times last year in person in Gwinnett. He's solid, and continuing to bulk up. Next year it'll be an Acuna, Pache, and Waters outfield. Markakis will pinch hit off the bench this year, so I doubt he sees much playing time.

Does Riley have the glove for 3rd ? Does Camargo have the bat ? Osuna isn't the same player he was years ago. I think Markakis is gonna get plenty of at bats this year.

He played decent a few games at third last year. It's his natural position so I think he'll be fine. Camargo's bat is inconsistent so I don't know if he'll be the better option.

Beiber to start opening day !!!! Don't sleep on the Tribe !!! If we keep Lindor. We are gonna be in the race for the division.

The Reds and Indians got swept. Big bummer. Then I was really hoping the Braves would do something. And they sure tried. But here we got Rays and Dodgers. And it's been a good series. Despite the pitching prowess. These are two teams that can put bats on balls 1 thru 9. And it has been a fun series. I just really couldn't care less who wins. Hard to really cheer on either side.

Cheer for the underdog with the third lowest salary cap. Or, any team other than the Dodgers or Yankees.
