Does anyone believe giving back these work rules that good men sacrificed for you & me to have are really going to erase this problem and the compnay will be profitable again??? this isn't about then having their foots on our throats & their going for the kill.
drop & hooks, flexiable work schedule, a weeks vacation isn't going to save yrc...do you really believe it will??? do you??

If you understand the problems so well and are so intelligent why don't you offer a solution to YRCW's financial woes. The biggest problem at YRCW is the wreckless spending by Zollars and crew. They made bad investments and want you to pay for them. Sounds like Zollars next move will be a politician. They have not been decimated by the banks as you think. The banks who have actuaries that really understand finance know that YRCW is not a good investment any more. If the people who know YRC is not a good investment what makes you think your investment is going to produce results? Yrc is counting on people like you. I am not trying to belittle anybody here but look at the facts with open eyes.

Seems to me that all us Teamsters, (including members in my own family) who fought for what we have must consider along with what's best for your own situation what happens to us Freight Teamster as a whole. In todays world who ever believes it's better somewheres else - maybe it is .. but your still here soooo maybe not? While I'm not happy about any loss and no one is, tell me who saves us but ourselves and the pride of still being a Teamster. Whether you like it or not it's a different world. Face it, we haven't organized any trucking company forever, ain't gonna happen anymore friend !! There's two of us left (YRCW and ABF) and we both depend on the other. Is my contract better then whats out there, better dag gone believe it. I want to fight for what we lost, but I'll first plan on fighting for what I have. Good luck to all.

My name is still on that senority list Bob..So I guess I do have a dog in this fight. It really is hard for me to understand how in the last few years you have become a sheep..The Road Steward that I remember would fight the company for every penny. Now he's happy to vote Yes to everything. Its a shame to watch a once proud Teamster crawl and beg for 1 more day. To believe that his whole world IS YRCW. If thats your definition of a Teamster than you are right I am far from being your kind of Teamster. We at Cinnaminson voted on the FACTS everytime and you were in the minority EVERY TIME..With your 1 sided YES MASTER mentality. But thats just a ignorant Teamster's opinion. P.S.- I voted so I am outta here. Talk to you in six months when the next Beg back vote comes down

And you better believe we won't organize any freight outfits ever. How can we, when our pay is becoming less than the non unions. And the Union use to sell the health benefits and secure pension. Now you can't offer that and you can't offer security of your job or pay.. yes you'll get to vote.. but if we ( the company / IBT) don't like how you voted we will demand the you revote to get it right.

Maybe you should read this post from the beginning.. the decertify was a tongue in cheek statement. Teamsters fight to get jobs, with fair pay and benefits. Then they fight to maintain those benefits. Not give them back time after time after time.
It's strange that you are on here asking people to vote yes. I thought when you called me last monday that you asked me what I thought of the new concessions. And I said my position is the same as the last 3 votes.. NO....Then you told me I agree, enough is enough we can't keep giving.. I must have heard you wrong... my bad...

Did ya ever think that maybe the nons always pay just under us to keep us out? And if we took it reall low...they may not be so comfortable...and maybe if we took it low they'd eventually realize that sticking together is the only way this business will ever be good for the drivers again...and they don't need to stick together if their ratesare just under ours all the time....but if we take it low...
John it was 2 thursdays ago I called you. I did agree with you until I got past the rumor and read the facts. As for you Bob all you did when you were here as just a NP employee all you did was complain. What were the reasons then? YOU ARE A BUM feeding off of the working people of this country. A sheep, I guess when you have nothing to lose everything should close you have nothing to lose. I DO, and so do the men i represent. YRC sucks , I am pushing to save jobs at NP. tHE MAJORITY OF MY MEN FEEL THE SAME WAY. Just for record Bob.I have numerous conversations with the union leadership. They feel this is the best route at this time. Teamster leader ship my union. What union do you belong to ? oh yeah, the TDU that cant get elected in a simple position, let alone an important one. Like you they make a lot of noise with no salutions EVER.
