One question I'm sure I'll get answered soon. But I'm also sure I could find out here. How are we paid? Weekly or Bi-Weekly??

With fuel costs on the rise, shppers are looking to source things closer. And in those 3,4,5 day lanes, they're going to shift more and more long-haul LTL freight to truckload.
Just like consumers who take less trips, move closer to work, ride the bus, buy smaller cars, etc.
FedEx National is in alot of trouble. They marketed the product on SERVICE (supposedly 99% on-time) but people are willing to forgoe service for PRICE. Who cares if the stuff gets there a day or two later when you can save 30%?
Long-haul LTL is not a good area to be in right now.
You better believe it.
I'm so confident. I even changed my Avitar. Heres to putting Jevic in the Past.
that kind of looks like unauthorized use of our corporate logo ..... my guess is you better change it before the FedEx police get wind of it... (bad German accent) "I think vee might have to deal with this kind of failure to comply harshly" :smilie_132:
Welcome to the Famz, Carolina Cowboy. I started running linehaul about the same time as you were hired. It's now almost 2 months later and I'm loving it.
And which new guy are you?
Mike K.
