ABF | How Is Abf ??

Just wondering if ABF is a good company to come work for ?
Do they have a strong O/R ?
Will they survive in this current economy ?
How are the supervisors / management ?
 
yes great company too work for, worked for them in new york now work for them in new mexico.the or is one of the best in trucking they are one ofthe only carriers that made money last quarter.

I just started with A.B.F. recently. I am suprised at how well management and the supers treat the men. The Big R was alot different. The eqipment is better, i have not been behind the wheel of 12+ year old city tractors, and i don't see any that old either. I say go for it !! Good luck to you.

Its the same way at 352. Well run, its not us against them, management & labor get along very well & the job gets done.

It is the same way here at 005. You couldn't ask for better guys to work for. I have not regretted the decision at all. I look foward to going to work.
I know that not every one will agree with me.

The reason it takes a while for some one to get back to you is because we are hauling freight.Thank GOD
Yes this is a good company i wouldn't want to haul freight anyplace else. I think we are running at a 92.something we were at 89. something a few quarters ago. I wouldn't have any problem recommending this place to someone.
You can look to see what we complain about and see what other freight haulers complain about. Some or the road yards are just starting to hire now your application stays on file 3 months then you can reapply. BIG background check and don't lie on your app or they will just trash it.

I was down there a week ago and the dispatcher said they had some guys on layoff so I don't think so. But it probably wouldn't hut to put in an app.:1036316054:
 
A Yellow guy here, was wondering if you guys still do those pods. Was in the city a couple years ago and saw an ABF with a drop deck trailer with pods on it. Think he had a piggy back fork lift to. Would be a great set up for alot of residential deliveries when not "podding"???? just curious. thought it was smart to diversify like that.

We still have them, they call them relo cubes.I was told they bring in alot of business.
