Life is too short

Hey Lumper--I work at Jo and I agree with HollandMan 100%.......I can't wait to get me a nice turn....Detroit,St. Louis, Hawaii, I don't care! It beats pulling my Huge A** in and out of my truck 8 times a day! Stop the hate!

Hi Jellyman:

No wonder Holland is going down the tubes, the Jellyman is only doing 8 stops a day. Why, in my day, never mind you wouldn't understand anyway:smilie_132: No hate here big bro, it's all fun and games and life is too shoat!:1036316054:

I know in JO most of us would be fine with that letter of understanding-----as long as they dovetail our two boards into one! I'll take a nice St. Louis turn, I think I got enough whiskers for it----thats the fair way to do it---lowest man on the totem pole gets laid off by company seniority then! Sound pretty fair?:smilie_132:

The Utility Employee has cost the Road Drivers 30 plus jobs at most barns. I am a very strong Teamster. With that said, why should any Company pay two men for the same work? How many Road men sir for hours waiting on a switch? A fair days pay for a fair days work.

Didn't you say you were laid-off? Conway will let you run linehaul and do city work. Are they hiring in your area? This way you could work any job classification and not violate anyones seniority, since" you are such a strong teamster". Just a thought.

what?

What exactly are you saying??? City guys should be laid off because because you road guys voted in this sh*t contract? You guys voted it in---now deal with it!! If you got the seniority you can be a UE driver, if not---thats what seniority is all about. I know most of us at JO are STRONG teamsters--thats why we voted the contract down twice!

Realists

I agree 100% with hollandman73 and I know he did ask several city men what they thought about 1 board. Also when the NMFA proposal was sent out Hollandman, myself and another city driver were reading it and saw the language for the UE, we asked the road steward about it he told us he was a realist and that the UE language did not pertain to holland and this was a good contract. So the way I see it city men didnt steal your work you guys gave it to us by once again voting the NMFA IN 2-1 and it was also the fastest NMFA ratification ever. As far as you roadies sitting and waiting for your drops you have mgmnt to blame 85% of the drops that come into JO are reversed or mixed so we usually either have to swing the load or handle majority of the freight 2-3 times so stop blaming us. :smilie_132:

Yeah! Your dead on BIG PaPa!! If those pig farmers had spent as much time reading their contract as they do picking out which color overalls to wear---we would not be where we are today!:nutkick:

PS......did ja hear? Office help is down to 35 hours a week......That blows

Most of the road drivers are strong Teamsters also, and you really need to look at the facts. If every Holland linehaul driver voted NO it still would have passed overwhemingly. Roadway and Yellow outvoted us by a large margin, and interestingly enough it has not affected them. :hide:

I would be careful messing with those pig farmers cityslicker.

Ever see the movie "Deliverance" ?

Or hear the famous line from it " We gonna make you squeal like a pig boy" ? :nutkick::biglaugh:

K-Y time for the whisker bros.

Yeah im mean mugging you

Hey HM73, Somebody told me that Lumper is jealous that there is no room for him under TMs desk. I got spanked by Benny in a PM for my post I guess people dont like the truth of what went down with NMFA. Even if holland drivers did vote no which I doubt happened in JO because your steward and BA were all saying its a good contract it was voted in and it should stay why should citymen be punished for the road drivers stupidity.

I hear the desk line stretches out to I-80, and BP & HM73 have used their well known and bragged about seniority on numerous occasions to get to the "HEAD":biglaugh: of the line, which makes it impposible for the lower seniority
people to even get in a "lick". OH YEAH!!!:butt kiss:
God bless them both:1036316054:
