Yellow | change concerns???????

Hi,
Has anyone heard of a shared lane?
My understanding is that anyone can move the freight and there wont be a runaround or claim for it.
The Mbk utility guys were talking about it.
As an example, loads generated at Nrm destined for mbk could be hauled by by bos,pme wst,or nrm drivers on the way to harrisburg or buf.No longer will mbk only go and get the freight.
There's probably other terminals with the same set-up.
The mileage from mbk to nrm is more than the 200 set-up in the revised utility operation.
Anybody with more info or can clarify it better?

Shared Work

As I have seen in the past the one's with the flat knees and round mouth seem to do well in these type of operations.

LOL! There was a fellow here who missed his window for the combined master bid. He was automatically made a percenter, which is the rule contractually. Everybody knows they will make some special provision for him after the bid is completed, because he possesses these very knees and mouth. He is from Yellow. I'm sure this will go over like a lead balloon with the Roadway folks.

That's too bad. My son is taking a city bid at the Roadway barn. The management teams have been kept intact. The Yellow managers are still at Yellow and the Roadway managers are still at Roadway. he was hoping things might be better over at the Roadway terminal. He should have known better.:hysterical:

Canadian freight in our district ran into & out of 671 on Riemer sleeper teams. Will this still happen out of CNC?
Sorry I missed this one Lou........I have heard that the Reimer teams will be running out of CNC.....I don't know the details and the committee may rule otherwise. DS.
