you can potentially work more hours in a 8 day period. I can't remember the math, but I think it was 84 hours or something.

11 on + 10 off + 11 on + 10 off + 11 on + 10 off + 11 on + 10 off + 11 on + 10 off + 11 on + 10 off + 4 on = 5 days 10 hours and 70 hours on duty. You count 34 hrs from that time which is 6 days 10 hrs and you can work another 11 hours which is 81 hours total. I think I got it right.
 
It's Quite simple a 34 hour restart let's the greedy guys that want the whole loaf of bread work more and not take as much time off stopping the rest of us, that want to share the work especially with the junior men that are just starting families and need a piece of that loaf of bread to feed their families.
When will some of you grow up and realize that you are not going to get rich on this job enjoy what you have and SHARE the little wealth we have with those less fortunate than us! God! The total greed of some of these people totally disgusts me![/B ]Didn't your mommy and daddy teach you how to share when you were a kid? Or maybe you would just rather run a hog board .... would that make you happy?
By the way before you start trying to shoot me down as being one of the poor needy people I am going on 22 years here At least I have some compassion for my fellow man. It's not all about me, it's about US!
 
Good post there YRC guy./ You wouldn't believe the greed at our terminal/ If you stood outside the gate with a tin cup, most of the those greedy bast##ds would spit in it and tell you to get a job.
 
Some of these guys are so full of themselves that if YRC said stay home we will pay you. Just come in once a week to get your check. The bums would be crying and whining that they could not get the check mailed to them......... hmmmmmm:duh:
 
We are not here to shaaaare and caaare. We are here to work full time jobs. If there isn't enough work for the bottom guys they should be layed off. Thats how it works. Otherwise lets all hold hands , sing hymns and work 1 day a week so everybody can have a crust of breeeaaad.
