Yes... we are here to work full time jobs, but take a day off once in a while, and let someone else work a full time job too.. There are too many people want to run 700 miles a day .
If you can't make it on 500 I feel sorry for you....This only means in your childish ways you can't control your spending and live on what you earn not above. People like this is why the economy is in the shape it is buying 350,000 dollar houses on 70,000 a year cut me a break.. too many dummies out there doing crazy things, crying I need to work more, screw everyone else.... waaa waaa waaa me me me me!:hissyfit: Well CONGRATULATIONS NOW ALL OUR JOBS ARE ON THE LINE CAUSE THE iDIOTS IN THIS COUNTRY COULD NOT CONTROL THEIR SPENDING HABITS.
 
Going on three weeks in a row now that the restart would have given the company the right to keep me out against my will working well over the limits of safety. What is wrong with you people that would even think of supporting such a rotten underhanded rule that threatens the safety of all of us and cuts our numbers and removes food from the table of many. Any one who would even consider this rule is either stupid,thoughtless,self rightious or obcessed with greed!
Please mark your truck so I know who you are when you are in need!

1 day a week? You want/need the 34 hour restart to work 7 trips weekly. HOORAY for the MEASTERS.
 
I put 5 years in at Sysco Seattle (union shop 117) and Sysco loved the 34 hour re-set. During my entire tenure there I couldn't get 2 consecutive days off. Wed and Sat off unless I ran out of hours. I averaged anywhere from 55-58 hours a week. Humping a hand truck with a loaded 35' or 48' trailer all day is not my idea of having fun. By far the worse job I ever had. Sysco sucks!!!!
 
You must be a real greed machine to want to work 88hrs a week.If you can make it on 60hrs you got big problems.I like sleeping with my wife.
 
I can't wait for Feb 28, It'll be fun to watch the greedy ones fight for the same piece of cheese. Already drivers are looking for the best runs to decide where to transfer.
 
I need the rule on picking up drivers out of hours and over 14 hours I know it's illegal I just need to find it in print

Its not illegal. What is illegal, is a driver operating a commercial motor vehicle after his 11th hour, beyond his 14th hour or after he runs out of hours. A company may at their option keep him on the clock and pick him and his load up. He, however is not legally allowed to drive in violation of DOT regs.

Ditto, what Vwaggs said. He can stay on the clock (line 4, on duty not driving) for as long as needed he just can't drive again until he gets a 10 hour break.
 
Also remember that the out-of-hours driver is on the clock til he hits the clock at the terminal. So..NO SPEEDING!:biglaugh:

last time i checked a full time job was 40 hours with two consecutive days off. generally Saturday and Sunday. not 80 hours with no days off. you greedy guys already cheat your log to run 7 days a week anyway so why would you need the 34hr restart? there are plenty of people who do enjoy a full time job, not two of them.

There's something wrong if a man can't make a living in 70 hours! Perhaps a lifestyle adjustment is needed?

Sounds like one of the cry baby's that use to/or is still out of 120! You Stroudsburg guys know the type I am talking about!!!
YEA for me and F&^K you! Lets go in the back and try to make a dope deal for pick & pass so I can run 500 miles a night! It makes me sick to even look a someone like that!

It all started with CREDIT CARDS...............
 
2000 miles a week that is all I want,even at that I don't NEED more unlike the meesters who are crying the need to work more.I know some that in the past weeks haven't been getting more then 1 round a week they are ready to have a heart attack.
