why is it i get a call from my TERMINAL MANAGER about the pool bid tomorrow ( and i thank him ) and not from the people that are suppose to represent me? is this what i pay my dues for? i want to hear from somebody from local 79, this whole thing stinks.

Because Hoffa and Johnson have to let Zollars and gang finish before they can take off their knee pads, get out the info to the locals, and continue "closely monitoring" the situation.

The terminal manager must really want to see you gone to personally call you. :)

This is a life altering decision and you should have been calling both company and union daily for any new information.

If you are in pool bid do not expect union or company to hold your hand. Every change I have seen the person interested in moving has done most of the work for himself because he wanted to move. Do not believe Joe blow on the dock,yard or road you have to find out for yourself. If you want to bid be there in person and be ready to bid.
