Yellow | Question for 10%ers in cities with 2 terminals.

Well there dude, there is NO Roadway or Yellow, just YRC. Nonetheless, Roadway rules and yellow, well, you know................................SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
 
Well, I can tell you're going to be part of the problem & not part of the solution. I'm a former Yellow guy who was knocked down to a 10%er after 10 years & had to bid to the former Roadway terminal to have a job in a city that's keeping both terminals. It doesn't help anybody by calling names & having an immature attitude. We're either going to survive together or sink together.:loser:
 
Well thanks to the TEAMSTERS, I may be part of the problem but I will continue to have a job! Thanks to the brotherhood.
 
If you mean me, I was. There's a nice difference...at Yellow we got 2 20 minute breaks. Roadway gets a 30 minute & 2 10 minute breaks. Gives a chance for the lunch digest, & to thaw out completely.

Well thanks to the brotherhood I am laid off. I am glad you are proud of being part of the problem. If you have to be proud of something it might as well be that. The Co. the union, the country, the world what ever the problem we have to solve it or even you will see the unemployment line and by the way when that happens the teamsters will turn their back on you just like they have done me.
 
Update, for what it's worth. I told YRC I wasn't reporting; came in and resigned. Figured my truckload job was steady, at least. Almost immediately, Batesville Casket offered me a job driving in their private fleet. I start there Monday. Great job-- about as close to recession-proof as I can figure.

Just a word of advice. ALWAYS put you and your family first!! **** YRC and the ******* IBT!!! Always have a plan B. I'm sorry for being sarcastic but at this point I'm just working until they shut the gate or the economy and OUR country collapses!! OR it could turn around with the messiah at the helm, our fearless leader yobahamamama..:biglaugh:

Sorry to hear that , JimmyG. Good Luck with Batesville. As you said, there probably won't be a downturn in their economy. Best of Wishes to you and your family.
