We got your wonderful delivery of Tractors in Friday. What pile of **** did you dig them out of? These had to have been retired long ago and ya'll drug them out of the weeds and sent them to us.But of course thats all we get , more junk for us to be out here risking our lives in. My wife gets a call from me every morning and I give her my unit # and condition of it so if I get killed in this unsafe junk she and her lawyer will have tractor numbers and defects to use in a lawsuit.
Welcome to the guys from Cape I hope ya'll don't miss those real good trucks they took to the Bluff and replaced them with this JUNK from Jackson. Sorry,It's not our fault.
WELCOME TO PADUCAH, the rectum of YRC!!

:17: As a WELL PAID TEAMSTER, PROFESSIONAL driver it is YOUR RESPONSIBILITY to pre trip the unit for safe operation. Not only for yourself but the PUBLIC!!! If, God forbid you had a wreck with said unit guess who would be at fault,..... YOU!!! If they will not get it fixed for SAFE operation then don't drive it!!!

Lets see,I say un-safe,the t/m says safe, the vendor says safe, and I get the letter for failure to follow instructions if I don't drive it. But ,I usually let the DOT settle the matter. Last time they found 17 violations and it was in the shop for months.
The guys and gals at the scales are always happy to do a safety inspection, just wave and point at the truck and you will get the pull around arrow every time.
Thats MY RESPONSIBILITY to the motoring public and myself. Plus I always keep a copy of the DOTs violations for my files. Then if a vendor or company supervisor says its fixed and signs the od 199 then I keep copies of that also. remember ; CYA.:nutkick:

Thanks

Thats a great idea Racecat, Im gonna remember that one!!!!!!

I've refused to drive several tractors because of safety related issues and stood my ground when ordered to do so, have not been fired for that yet. If it's wrong, then its wrong, you don't drive it, otherwise quit your whining. If it's not safety related and it breaks down, your still gettin paid, it ain't all bad.

You think the equipment is junk now?? Wait a few years. How much money do you think YRC's been sinking into equipment or will sink into equpment in the foreseeable future?? Down the line YRC will have the junkiest fleet on the road.If they don't own that title now.

I'd like to know where you guys find all this defective power. Rarely do I find issues with the power. When I do its usually a light bulb or some rocket scientist broke the fire extinguisher mount.
