A lot of people think that today will be the last day for Indianapolis. At the yellow dock there loading all the yellow frt. onto trailers to have it all in computers. They think it will be closed on Mon. when its all supposed to change. What do you think?

Isn't all the freight supposed to go into trailers anyway????? They are trying to get all the loads closed out so that when they shut down Yellow's system therer will be no problems or lost freight.

at 341 we were not loading any freight on any Yellow trailers, that was because it would mess up the bills on the trailers showing loading. Supposedly when they switch the system over it would dump the bills in the open Yellow trailers and then we would have to go back and rescan the bills back on the Yellow trailers again. I hope this made sense to you.

Myself and about 9 others were called back as of 3/1/09 at 0001. I thank some of the 10 are roadway drivers I am a yellow road driver. Was told I was being called back for YRC and not Yellow.

just do your job so we all can still have one. enough of the crying. we all will be crying that the unemployment line is to long and your feet hurt i need a 10 minute break in the line. gloom and doom teamsters soon to be ex - teamsters if we don't perform .

All yellow trailers should be in the system so you don't have to use foreign line code anymore (YFSY). As far as the freight from Indy RDWY dock to Indy Yellow dock, think about it. Yellow dock (324) is the Flow center now Rdwy Indy (321) is EOL city dock. All outbound freight that Indy does not load direct has to be run to flow center 324. All the city freight 324 does not run has to go to 321. A lot of shuttling of freight will go on for a week. After the freight that was PU before 3/1/09 that was pu under yellow pros is gone things will straighten out. I know the EOL terminals served by the new 324 where already having their trailers the utility drivers did not run, taken to 324 Friday night. YRC District Manager and Rdwy terminal manager where at Roadway 4:00 am Saturday morning waiting for the big computer shutdown and to handle problems.
