I would be saying SHOW ME THE MONEY,SHOW ME THE MOTHER TRUCKING MONEY. I keep hearing something getting closer. ME,ME,ME, LA,LA,LA. It sounds like the FAT LADY, is going on next, right after the LETS MAKE A DEAL FOR LAND PENSION, DOG AND PONY SHOW.

Hey Stroud, ya'll need to change that battery in your hearing aid! The Fat Lady was singing at least 8 monthes ago. I really wished you guys were going to be able to tell me I told you so but I guess that isn't going to happen. I have to admit though, its very pleasent seeing our senior girls look so worried in the morning. They don't seem to have those sh#t eating grins on their faces anymore. Can't wait for their new fellow employees to tell them they have to pay their dues. At least I can get a job as a fortune teller, but then, this whole fiasco was so easy to predict. Why don't you yes girls just give your whole paycheck back for the rest of the time and all your benefits too. You know you will. So so sad. Please stand up and say enough is enough this time! PS: in the mean time, go look up and see what your local useless union officials are making. Just saw what ours make and even I am surprised and discussed. Gotta go puke!!! PSPS: Sure am glad I took all my vacation at the first of the year. Anybody who hasn't can probably kiss it goodbye.:TR10driving03:

With all that the IBT has given up on OUR behaves, why HASN"T $ Bill given up HIS GOLDEN PARACHUTE and left? Maybe this is what will SAVE YRC...................:eck13::nutkick:
 
Lets suppose all the Teamsters are gone and YRC closes. Then what? Will they keep Glen Moore and continue on business as usual? I'm trying to figure out what this leads to. Does it mean there will never be another large Teamster carrier again? Does it put pressure for some other carrier to unionize?

That will prolong their jobs.....I can hear them now... We need to organize....Maybe they will put on their thinking caps then cause they sure as hell don't have them on now.

Maybe they couldn't keep Glen Moore if they are still responsible for the pension. I'm not sure if the responsibility only lies with YRC or the whole corporation YRCW. I wonder if they could just bankrupt part of it.

For the LAST time, they want to get rid of the Teamsters. YRC will still be in the freight biz, only the freight will be hauled by YRC Logistics and Glen Moore.
As for the Teamsters selling you out and losing members? They could care less. They've been rewarded VERY generously by Dollar Bill and the boys. And they'll still get paid. There's tons of Teamsters in other industries.That you can take to the bank.:shift:

So what you are saying is out of approx.1.4M members....YRCW (approx.35,000) only makes up 2.49% of that?....KK

I wonder what diesel oil soak swamp land mosquitoe infested blue lagoon property they'll put up to cover the pension. If they do own one and what ever happen with bank freezing their assets? LMAO at all the silly :ranting2: teamsters who voted yes for contract, 10% give back. Yrc is :nutkick: you all and know you feel and look like ::shit::! Lets not forget packing you bags to follow the yellow brick road that either left you homeless, divorced, no work, and miles away from family and friends.

The question becomes, were the Teamsters promised all the Glen Moore guys will now be white paper Teamsters, with less benefits and higher IBT profits.

Since the Teamsters administer the benefits, just a cut in things like dental and insurance, can result in dramatic revenue increases per member.

GLEN MOORE IS UNION. No not on the NMFA but union non the less. They are our brothers. YRC Logists is not a freight co. They have contracts with cos to distribute goods. If YRC closes most lickly YRCW will sell off thoes two assets and close up all together.
 
How does the Union make money, or rather pay for all of their expenses? What good is a paper contract? What good does the NMFA do for the IBT? I would bet that all of these other "Teamster" members in other fields, i.e. janitors, police officers, maids, etc.. have no where near the benefits that we do BUT they still pay in their monthly dues.

When you're a winner you're always happy, but if you're happy as a loser you'll always be a loser.
 
The IBT lets us down again

I hope and pray that YRC can make it, but they sure have made some really dumb moves ever since the Roadway purchase. Yellow has poisoned every union carrier that they have put thier hands on, and now due to all the mergers, are so big that if YRC fails, all NMFA carriers will probably fold up too. Add to that all of us that will never see the decent pension we worked so hard for. Dollar Bill and Baby Hoffa could care less about the working freight teamster. They both have enough money now to live like kings the rest of thier lives. Both of them should be shot for what they have done to thousands of hard working men and women. I remember when I was proud to brag about all the benefits I got as a NMFA teamster. No more. All I do now is keep my fingers crossed that YRC makes it. One of Jimmy Hoffa's quotes was: "Never trust a lawyer". Well, we put our faith in his lawyer son, and look where we wound up. Makes me appreciate the old man more and more.
