...especially on casual Friday. Yea baby!!! a residential with a fork lift & a customer that's more than eager & wiling to help, now that's what I'm talking about.

You're damn right my work stops here, (at the back of the truck:clap:) sorry Mr, (or what ever you call your self) for insurance purposes,

we're not aloud to go in your home, (that sound like a legitimate excuse, or one, they can buy.) now open your garage.

What? it's full? oh well, i guess you get it right here then...:nutkick::biglaugh:

I've never gone along with the "it's on the back of the trailer, now it's your problem thing" on residential deliveries. I've always helped the customer to at least get the shipment to the house or garage. Some have asked if I set it up. As in drill press, ect.
Some may throw you a few bucks for a little extra effort. From what I've heard.

Always help on rezzy's never know when you'll get a greased palm, in SoCal especially where that Duffus SSAW (Slobbering SouthCounty *** Wipe) is from. I've always gotten $100.00 tips when the grease was flowing. The one time I refused to help was when it was pouring rain and the *** I was delivering to refused to help me move his 1500 lbs of boxes (of gay **** mags) to his garage, "C-Ya *******!!!

i always go above & sometimes beyond to satisfy a customer, but i will never go inside a home.

as far as the work stopping at the back of the trailer, it only goes for rude irate customers, ones that expect something extra for nothing.

that's when i close the door, call dispatch & customer gets freight at another time.....:nutkick:...not by me...:shift:

i don't get paid enough to get abused by irate customers, it's bad enough i have to deal with middle management.

which brings me to this other opinion of mine,

when YRC besides to close it's doors,

it wont be do to poor teamster workmanship,

it will be do to, poor middle management.

case in point, the other day i went out on the street with a set, (empty rear box.) i was told to drop rear box on the street,

at a drop lot then continue on with my run (not in my usual area) delivers of the front box.

after lunch i dropped the front box (which now was half full with pick ups) hooked to the empty for a live load at a customer.

i arrived 5 minutes prior to their closing,

only to find out that i could had drove through there with the set in the morning & dropped rear box & gear at customer,

to load at their own leisure.

never the less i made them feel OK about being so late, (although management had know about pick up form the previous day)

drop the empty that was picked up the next day.

this is just one incident that happens at our terminal, more than once daily.

but yet some how it's always the teamster fault....screw that & screw middle management, our union Representatives, delegate's & their agendas...:nutkick:

were you pissed, cause the customer liked your braunie back & wanted to tip you with some free bottles of anus lubricants...:biglaugh::biglaugh::biglaugh:

That tow motor and driver is a hazard. No saftey cage, the driver isn't wearing his seatbelt and just where can you get a pair of those steel toe sandals that he appears to be wearing!!

Why are you going out with a set on a pedal run when you got people on lay off status?

The bean counters just want the freight out the gate. If they show it out for delivery it doesn't matter if that rear box sits in the drop lot for a week before it's delivered to them. They are just thinking of their BS numbers.....they no nothing of customer service!
