Yellow | YRC Worldwide sells HQ to load up more cash

If they sold for 22.5 million, that is not even 10% of 2nd quarters loss. What a shame, I do not have much confidence that YRC will see 2010.
 
It has been a Jevic storm ever since I knew of Yellow. Could not operate Saia plus others. I have been retired from trucking since 1997 and was in it for over 43 years. Retired from the Teamster with over 30 years. You need to shake Hoffa`s chain and wake him up. I would watch him closely with this maneuvering that YRC is doing.
 
They're setting themselves up..........for failure. Ask any lawyer. Selling HQ's, not even ashamed about hiding it. It's a shame. Our reps. will just watch and tell you UPSF is hiring.

YRC Worldwide Inc.’s headquarters has joined the assets the trucking titan has been shipping off to raise cash.

But it didn’t go far. A group of local investors led by Ken Block and Steve Block, principals of Kansas City real estate firm Block & Co. Inc. Realtors, bought the Overland Park headquarters in a sale-leaseback deal that includes a potential 30-year lease for YRC.
 
Maybe bill should sell his @ss and lease that back. That'd be a bundle of money coming in since alot of people want a piece of it. Does anyone know if douche bag drives or does he get chauffered? Bet the driver is non union. Can't blame him for that!

Chauffer is union. He took a 10% wage reduction also.

Just did a search on $bill. He has residenses in KS, KY & MO. Maybe he can sell some of these to keep you guys going. Don't think that will happen.

I wonder if they have thought of selling the remaining tractors and trailers in the fleet? They have laid off to the point we don't have enough drivers to deliver the freight anyhow so why not have the customers we have left come to our leased dock, break out their freight, load it, and go on their merry way? A new concept in ltl trucking. Do it yourself freight.
