Holland | Let this be a lesson

well lets see if i want a hat that says holland i have to buy one worked here 5 years and only 1 free hat from the company and that was for my birthday ??? yet have had compeditors give me hats havnt worn 1 yet
 
I worked for Mid States years ago when I was laid off from Holland. I wore my Holland jacket to work there, and was asked why I was wearing that jacket. I replied, because I am proud to be a Holland driver. I also didnt wear their uniforms. When I was asked why I never wore their uniforms, I replied, because I dont want anyone to know that I work here!! No lie!!!

But the paycheck was good enough for you right?
 
I once wore something deemed in poor taste by my wife.........................She wasnt happy i was wearing her underwear to visit her mom

Please dont tell us why your mother in law knew what underwear you had on. Seriously....Dont do it!!!!!.....Please, i'm begging you!....I know it will be tempting but don't do it!:biglaugh::biglaugh:

Yes Wireman, they gave me a paycheck. $14.50 an hour, junk equipment, (duct tape to hold mirrors on, bunjie strap to hold hoods down, etc.) treat you like crap, and they couldn't care less if you were dead or alive, you are just another monkey behind the wheel. If they had treated me with respect, I would have returned the favor! They did not make me proud to work there.Oh yeah, in case you didnt know, they went out of buisness.

Yeah I know they went out. I would of just collected unemployment.....lol
 
Don't Wear "Company" Hats!

I feel Teamster employees should wear Teamster hats (unless restricted by company policy)! I know most of our drivers do EVERY day! Let the management employees wear all the company cheerleader clothing! FIGHT THE POWER!:shift::TR10driving03:

I got to disagree with ya on that one freightmaster. As far as Teamster wear, road yes, but city no. I myself had rather a custom address me as Holland, "other than my name of coarse" rather than who are you with? I prefer to wear my nice Teamster jacket outside of work. You can bet someone will always strike up a conversation with ya. Can we agree to disagree brother? Good luck GRIZZ
