man, I wish i would have found this board 6 months ago. I worked for sefl for 8 years. great company. unfortunately they have some real problem people in management. they say they care about the people, but try bumping heads with your TM. i'll bet you get the short end of the stick.

Isn't their an open door policy with the upper management in this company? Like the Regional manager,or human resources? In case you have issues with a local manager? If not...there should be!
 
all you got to do is make managment mad, first they black list you, then they show you the door. the open door policy is a joke, it should be called, "show you the door policy"
 
That is the good & bad of the company. The TM has all the power. If you have a good open minded one, then all is good. If you have a power hungry control one, then all is not so good. If you call HR or any regional person, they call the TM.
 
it sounds like a lot of guys who have a problem with a manager have not tried to go over his head. you are asking for a world of trouble. thats why you keep your mouth shut. a open door leads outside.
