Update reports the 33 year old trucker arrested for drunk driving>http://www.newsfirst5.com/news/lamar-man-killed-by-suspected-drunk-truck-driver-on-i-70/

Good Heavens! this is as bad as it gets!My sympathies go out to this family,The driver of this truck is going to be a Colorado resident for a long time to come.

Wild West Rules apply to such cases of Drunk Driving: You were caught in the act so WE SEE WHAT YOU DID, therefore YOU'RE GUILTY. NO trial, NO plea bargain, NO suspicion, NO attorney needed!! None of that namby pamby "right to a trial by jury or ones' peers", just a straight out shot to the head, then toss the body in a shallow grave.

Truck stops that SELL BEER to Truck Drivers need to be as well held accountable, just like Bars that sell to people when the people are glaringly drunk, then go drive into someone or something causing damage or death.

Hope the driver didn't breed before killing.

A long time there was a state on the east coast that had in the rest area had a state" spirit" store right on the interstate highway.

Good Bye USA TRUCK. Just shut the doors. After DOT, the state of Colorado, and the lawyers are done there won't be much left. Unbearable tragedy pray for the survivor and the families.

Its scum like this that are making the rest of us look so bad in the publics eyes and I really cant blame the public.I does make us all look bad.

DART in Eagan, MN., has settled with a few Families regarding Deaths from Accidents/Wrecks and while DART has to pay the remainder of the families' lives (or some such agreement), the Company is still thriving, so USA Truck may well not be shut down.
Other Companies have experienced such calamities and some have been forced out of business or closed up shop voluntarily.

Such Accidents/Wrecks do not encourage positivity for Trucking yet such events/incidents will continue as long as Vehicles travel or until STRICTER LAWS are released against Drunk Driving.
