We learned today that the Atlanta Regional Manager has been fired due to "performance" reasons. Of course the SCM comes in today blowing off about "everyones" job will be scrutinized and if you aren't performing, you won't be working here. Funny thing is, we have been doing everything the fore-mentioned regional manager has asked/demanded of us. These people are really screwed in the head.....

Evidently he wasnt good at fudging numbers, they will have a lifetime of employment if they can make the numbers look good???:shutup2::1036316054:

Think about it ....
He was one of the guys the Regional had under his belt , sooooo maybe he was one of the problems that added to the reasoning behind the firing .

Would you like me to order the going away balloons for his firing party ?

Its only the first of a long line ..... heads are gonna roll until they get the "click" they want, its happening all over the system, all I can say is, us lowly people just do our jobs, well be OK, but in management, every day you come to work, may be your last.

Not sure WHO the ATL.Regional Manager was OR what his problem was but I will tell all this... Last Thursday(Feb.18th) and Monday (Feb.22nd) I missed my cut time which is 3:15... Now almost every night so far this bid I have turned at the window and keep in mind I am arriving in ATL. at 11:00-11:15. Me missing my cut time sure doesn't make me get in any kind of hurry, so late freight back at a southern service center with dock hands standing around waiting on freight REALLY pisses off CCM's and RVP's :ranting:

Who knows maybe Nashville won't be able to blame Alanta now for their linehaul runs being hours late to the meet points. We have, I think four meets with Nashville, and they always say it is Alanta's fault. Even on Monday mornings. Really how can the first out meet be late on Monday? We hear so many excuses from Nashville that we just told them just give us a number we'll assign a excuse to it. #1, Alanta was late..#2, It was raining..#3, The sun was shinning..etc..etc and so on. It is as if they don't have cut times in either service center. This has gone on for years now. At first it was.."We have so much skinney roads so they got it changed to a new spot were it was all interstate for Nashville and more two lane for us and they still could not make their meets on time. I mean an hour late every day. They must have some very nice rest areas along the way or something.

Good bye George I don't guess you will be cooking us anymore hamburgers and hotdogs..............
