One dead on 401

To any truckers coming north; if you are in a hurry, the 401 from Mississauga to Oshawa is stop and go 24 hours a day. Relax and slow down there's nothing you can do about it.


Police say a a westbound tractor-trailer slammed into the back of a stopped Mazda Tribute carrying four people then hit a Volkswagen Jetta. A Toyota minivan and a Chrysler Sebring were also struck in the crash.

Canadian thanks for your crash post,and warning to steer clear of the 401 in Canada.

I wouldnt say its stop and go alllllll the time. but close to it!

You can't steer clear of the 401 though. Most of the population in canada is on the 401 corridor, and the autoroute 20 corridor in quebec (401 turns into 20)
