FedEx Freight | Life as a Fedex Freight Driver

Its sad for me. I have traveled all over these great states and have enjoyed this, biggest part of my 23 year career. And now, I'm watching trucking die as we have known it. We really do work for one of the best company in the world. And with that said, I really don't understand how the uppers or who ever is calling the shots can treat their people with such disregard. Are we not a better company than this, do they not tell us we are people first. We all understand we have to change in order to compete in the market today, but how much is enough? Does this company not have enough money or resources to place these people in something else with the company? You know, these people I'm talking about are your people FEDEX, the ones that have moved and uprooted their family for you. We were also told to lead by example, what kind of example are you showing us? And before anybody says it, I know, we all get paid, but they have told us they wanted to be the best in the world. Is this the best we can do? I talk to a lot of people and they all say the pay is good but they just don't know if they will have a job tomorrow. Anyway, I guess I needed to vent a little and make no mistake I'm very thankful for my job and what I have, I just wish we all could do it better. You all have a good day and GOD bless.
