I have been working 4 days a week for the last Three weeks. But i will say they arent sending me home mid week like they sometimes do. I've been getting long weekend so that it's ok..... also have been keeping me within 400 to 500 mile from home at all times no long runs.........

you won't get 2 drivers to say that same thing...hit and miss.... either doing very well in a region, or like you, a bit on the slow side. overall frieght is stronger this year, than last year this time, IMO

They are running the **** out of me still. Every once and again I get caught in the Carolina shuffle but it all seems to work out.

Im very pleased with this winter so far. Been moving on my 10 most of the time and usually get back out after the restart. Believe the switch to Wed. night start has helped a lot too. Much less competition for work on the weekends. During the rest of the week its hit and miss like rjjr says.

I can't see where we have dropped any....But, the weather in the East has cooperated this year...Usually they have lots of snow by now...

and last year we really got busy, when one of the regions, shut down because of snow

Last year ours slowed a bit in late January to mid February, but picked back up around mid-March...About the way it always does..This year, with the lack of bad weather in the East, we haven't missed a beat...

I'm hearing the smaller terminals have more loads than drivers

Ours kinda equal out,Dew...Sometimes we have more MEM and DAL freight than we can handle, but usually if we don't have someone in bed, either JAM or HAM has someone..Or DAL will send the first AXL out with extra board and they return with our outbound...So it equals out most of the time..We never have freight just sitting..

Sounds like its right where it should be.

I usually rack up big miles when it snows , seems alot of schedules get cancelled and loads given to extra board. Last year was the bomb, this year shaping up the same way.

I don't know about you guys, you see it more than I do,but it seems this winter is more calm than winters past...True or not true...

So far it's been great. My wife bought me one of those heated motorcycle jackets that plugs into the gloves. I may have used it twice so far this winter.

Slow in Carolina.
