ABF | driver school

What little info I got ,I think they use Sage Driving school in PA.I could be wrong.

They were training guys at a driving school in lebanon PA a few years ago when Carlisle was having a road school. I was trained for the yard at Carlisle 20 years ago by some of the yard guys who volunteered for the work and I also trained guys a while back for the yard. For Road school they shipped us to Malden Missouri and Toby was in charge of that deal. That was a 3 week stay for city and 5 weeks for road. I think we got 200 per week for that but that seems like forever ago....thats getting way back in abf history there haha....

They send you to an ABF accredited driving school in your nearest coal region where the women are toothless and cockroaches and bedbugs are viewed as the local wildlife.
Har Har...equipment all B Model Macks with two sticks and no power steering. If you get through the first week without dislocating your shoulder, then you graduate to a White Compact with no front shocks and a rope to hold the driver's door shut. But it has a RoadRanger....

Still waiting to hear when they start school. Already did DOT /Phys , forklift test. Hope it's sometime in the near future.

Just last week, they said they will put me through training................it only took 8 months to get to that point at YRC.Too answer your question, only hostling and on their property was the only thing I was allowed too do.

They have a genuine forklift test? I wonder if I could pass it.

Laughing here, thanks for the tip and best of luck to ya.
