Holland | Terminal manager meeting in Joliet

Who in their right mind would buy something that has no value and a huge debt load on top of pension obligations?
I'm not sure how to look at it........

Have we not been sold already because of the pension obligations, and a buyer is afraid of the cost?
Or will YRCW not part with us because we are their cash cow?

I am guessing a spin off from YRCW before something bad happens to them... like they did with Jevic. In my opinion of coarse.

Some say that YRCW needs to dump us and New Penn to get rid of some of their debt. But, on the other hand, when we get sold our profitability goes with us. But, since YRCW hasn't done anything that makes any sense, who knows what they are thinking.

yea union sold us put again ,extended the pension till July 22nd now ???? no vote on that ????

Please Dear Lord let us be sold!!
now why would you want that? when the game plan is ,one they took out of the cf/conway play book.....build the regionals up... and tear down the national(yrc).....then when yrc gets so weak they cant survive... spin them off and watch them die.. then pick up the left overs...we have seen this before...im just glad glenn moore isnt running yrc,s line haul any more.... who put a stop to that?they are hand feeding roadway and yellow freight to holland every day..and no one is going to stop it....and you want to be sold.. give me a brake

Well...the customers want to have the freight delivered in a timely manner! This is one smart thing YRC is doing! And YES, we want to be sold!

First off let me start by saying, I am not attacking you our your post. I believe that the YRC/Holland issue is quite different then the CF/Conway. First: Conway was a company created by CF. Holland was bought by YRCW as part of the USF deal. Second: YRCW has taken measures that has weaken the regionals, just like they have weaken YRC. ie Closing of terminals and diversion of freight to other carriers. Third: The freight that is being "hand fed to Holland" is freight that was taken from Holland awhile back and is just now coming back to us.

I believe that YRCW has weaken "all of us" not just YRC. I don't believe for one moment that they would spin off YRC as a stand alone company, there has been to much money spent on the mergers and other operational aspects to YRC, and it would be hard to find anyone who would them, our the regionals.
