Boston,MA. A high Box truck ,was no match for a low tunnel entrance.

Weren't there signs to say height restrictions? I never understand how this happens. If the tunnel is "x" high and your truck is "y" high, you're not gonna fit

Now the government has to step in once again, for public safety.
Wonder how many truckers have been tossed to the curb, for crunching their boxes?

"I had traffic in the way. I couldn't get into another lane"

Then you stop the effin truck..... Dumbass.

I know Airbrakes do some folks even think about what they say?

There is no excuse for these kinds of accidents. If you know your truck will not fit under the tunnel/bridge, why on earth would you drive under it? If traffic will not let you merge, you get more aggressive, or you stop. Yes, you will create a hazard by stopping, but you're going to create a hazard anyway by getting stuck under the bridge.

Here is another victim from those '' cars only '' roads that are either side of the Charles river, that separates Boston from Cambridge.......

What about those overpasses on 395 or 295 in D. C.??
Last time I was there with a Combo ('09) I had a low 45' or 48' Mail hauling Van of I guess 12' 5" or so yet being as how I'm so used to 13'6" I was awaiting the impact as I viewed the height decreasing levels.
I recall no recent or old reports of Drivers impacting low levels so I'll figure no gps dependent class 8 idiots travel such roads.
