Yellow | New President of YRC

Good move !! Rogers rah rah BS never impressed me. We need good hands on management not slogans and games.

Bingo! when the rank-and-file see consistent problem day in and day out and there are no solutions or stoppages to the problem, then the problem ways beyond. It goes to the top.

More like a step backwards then forward, seems all they know is how they use to do it not how to move it forward.........................

Welch said...."when I led what was then Yellow Transportation, the predecessor company of YRC Freight."

I guess Roadway was not a predecessor company.

Stiring the pot.

P.O.

Ask the Roush family if it really matters anymore.

Probably had something to do with the last disastrous COO. Who ever thought that turd would fly needs to be fired.

Yellow BOUGHT Roadway get over it. Can't be predecessor if you were bought out

Yellow Freight System did not buy Roadway Express. Yellow Corp. bought Roadway Corp. Yellow Freight System and Roadway Express were eventually merged together forming YRC Freight.

Either way its yellow now and Welch is making it clear. Any remnants of roadway management that were competent are working for profitable freight companies like FedEx and Estes. I wish the would just take the roadway name out of YRC and stop dragging big r's legacy down with this place

I spent 28 years working for Roadway Express. Then they merged and moved my terminal into the local Yellow Freight terminal where I worked for six months before I retired. Those Yellow dog guys were some of the best people I have ever worked with.
