What hospital is he in? We've got a box of "girly" magazines to send up.. it gets boring in the hospital..:hide:
 
thoughts & prayers are with you & your husband. it sure does suck this idiot took off. hope they hang him. best wishes for your husbands speedy recovery & may GOD grant you and yours the strength to endure anything that comes from this in the future. GOD BLESS YOU ALL.

This county is a big one with only one big town and a lot of very tiny towns. Not really suburbs, more like a store with a gas pump and that's the city.

Here's a url to the one I mentioned. Sounds the same, I hope it was. If not they have a major problem with hit and runs around there. It was on Will Steel Road. Between 196 and 82? . I don't know the area. This says at CR 15 and CR 256 just south of Hwy 82.I just didn't see the follow up where the driver was caught... Will Still road. Got him after searching for a month. That's a very bad stretch of road. The boy's girlfriend got mad at him and called in on him. They arrested him in another county if I recall correctly. That's what I heard from the grapevine. Different area than I live in although same county.
 
As for WHY I started this thread. Not for sympathy. I was told that many came up at NMP asking for information on my husband. I had no way to contact them. I thought of this board and figured someone here would have connection to NMP or read the board. I'd have a direct connection to them instead of them having to wait to find out and then it would be at work. That may cause them to not have their concentration on their job 100%. Big "R" wouldn't want to be the cause of anything happening. Any here that really know him know I tell the truth.

I will check back time to time. Anyone want an update let me know in PM so board can go back to it's crazy normal. Beerfd put those girly mazaines in your outhouse to wipe your butt on LOL!!

I'm not going to comment on the girlys' in the outhouse..but I will say that we don't want normal crazy..we want updates on the big "R". So please post..don't worry about conway or the politics.. If you don't post, we'll be very concerned. Thanks for the updates.
 
I believe that most of us here would like to keep updated. You aren't disrupting anyone on here, keep posting TDW. May God bless your family.
 
The nurse he had this weekend was awesome. On top of the game and altho it's just a few small improvements... could mean weaning big "R" from the vent starting Monday. I'm hoping the doc will do this. Already the fever has broken, kidneys started working, backed off the pain meds. All of that since Thursday night!!! I mean this big man is considered CRITICAL and NOT OUT OF THE WOODS and already he's starting to make strides. :bgroovy: :bgroovy: :woohoo1:
 
Thoughts and prayers. Your husband sounds like a tough guy. This is just a small detour. I know he'll be out on the Big Road soon.
 
Let him off some of the pain meds so he could be more conscious. He decided the breathing tube is yuck so he bowed up,lifted his head and pulled on the tie downs on wrists. The nurses were running for him. Thought for sure he was going to break them and amazed he was that strong!! Well he's barely fitting in the bed.. what'd they expect? :D A sign he's gonna be trouble.. hehehe...
 
Dear TiredDrvrsWife: Could you give us an update? Hopefully, he's able to get out of the Hospital and recover at home. Good Luck to both of you.
 
Well... things became *interesting* for a bit. Whatever they gave him caused my husband to not wanted to sleep for nearly 2 days. It's been a very rough couple of days. He's seen things that's not there. Doing better but still *remembering* weird things.

He's better and trying to stay with just Tylenol right now but he still has mother medication in his system.

Big "R" is very humbled to know that the guys at NMP stopped for a moment to ask prayer for him while on the dock. The big man has tears in his eyes and trembling in his voice. Thankful to the nurses that have put up with him. Still have a rough road ahead. Think of him and pray too.

Praying for speedy recovery. I have been vented before and understand, get the tube out. God Bless.
