I called the hall in D.C and ken halls secretary said "hes out of the office all day, he is at the table negotiating on my behalf". Now to my question to all ups freight teamsters. At your barn, have you seen some new White twin screw volvo sleepers??? There have been some spotted at ATL,LEX,MEM. they have a sticker on them saying "Truckload". Alot of drivers i talk to believe that those trucks are for our new 2nd tier teamster brothers n sisters. The LHD CLASS. if you have these trucks at your barn please respond and let me know how many you have at your barn. Thanks and be safe

We have had tl drivers in and out of our yard for a couple of years now. Ours are laying over in the yard. Come in with a trailer and leave with the same one. Just looking for a place to sleep on the cheap.
 
I have seen Truck Load driving white twin screw sleepers for years now. Those new trucks you are seeing could be for truck load or the new future LHD. I would not put it past the company to have bought those tractors for the future LHD as the union was so confident in telling UPS that the last proposed contract would pass. I am still betting on the LHD to be part of the new proposed contract and I bet UPS and the union is also.
 
Busternite i can only pray and hope that the lhd wont be inthe contract. But i am not so nieve and blind. Its just a matter of time before we see it with our own two eyes
 
If they can get us to vote yes on a contract that allows LHD move power to UPS. Can't blame them for $15.00 an hour and 38 cents a mile drivers. Remember it's a race to the bottom. We let this pass we will win the race...
 
Suposedly, these are for ssd, there is a lease about to expire and ups is staging there new equiptment around.

In the T.A thats what it stands for. A whole new classification. We are the ONLY teamster LTL trucking outfit that has made money but yet we are also the ONLY outfit to have a 2nd teir pay for a road driver. All i can say to this is if the newT.A. has the same b.s. lhad language in it, lets show ups that the teamsters of ups freight are strong and will vote it down again!!!!
 
Look to see if there's a pintle hook on the rear to move the dolly. If so there's your answer. It's comming because the teamsters want them. Dang glad their working for us and not against us...LOL

That's right...more due paying members. That is all that this is about. Sad...very sad! Vote NO.
