How would the law prohibit a bank from negoitating a contract when the said company has a 1.45 billion dollar debt owed to them??

Honestly I don't know, but with Privacy Laws abundant, and Securities laws abundant, I doubt it's allowed for banks to negotiate YRCWS financial and secrets with a third party? I tried to suggest on here that the pensions buy the company that's in arrears- it was pointed out it is illegal......
 
Why are you worried about who papajohn works for?? I believe it was 32 with USF, he retired only to NEVER recieve a check so he went to work for ABF, so yes triple he has a horse in this race,, by the way you dont work for a YRC company now do ya??

He was stating info about papajohn because papajohn was coming after me about who I work/worked/will work for. I declined to answer and that started the mess... - I apologized.

Don't need to know where you work anymore... I just wanted to know if you would be honest, and you choose not to reveal... YOU HAVE STATED YOU DO HAVE AN VESTED INTEREST FOR A YES VOTE , and usually there is a motive behind it... Difference between you and I is that I care about the company, AND THE TEAMSTERS...YOU ONLY CARE ABOUT THE COMPANY!!!

1. You don't need to know where I work - you say you wanted to know if I would be honest... and you were going to tell that by???? If I say I still work at Holland - what - are you going to call every Holland employee and see if the know "SinC"? Good luck with that...

2. I would challenge your "who cares more" with - I care MORE about the teamsters than you do. (TAKE A DEEP BREATH... Read the next words a few times) It is my OPINION that a huge amount of very frustrated men and women are voting on something that they have not taken the time to research. I hear people saying "The company has cut their debt by 300 MILLION... why do they need us to vote yes NOW?" - Answer - The 300 MILLION only gets cut IF THE VOTE IS YES... How many of your 'fellow brothers and sisters" did you "Help to fully understand this point?" .... 1 in 5 Adult males in our country are OUT OF WORK - Did you help your "brothers and sisters" understand this point? I don't care -in the end- what you or anyone else votes. But.... BUT... if you vote NO and then proceed to say "Shut them down" it seems that YOU are the one that isn't thinking about the others.... Call me an idiot... but I though the idea was to get a group of people together and get what was fair for that group.. as a whole. So we can't 'throw out the better than average medical benefits because 30% have medical thru the spouse....?? 'I don't need them' - well... just because YOU don't need them doesn't mean others 'don't need them'. We can't forget that YRCW has an aging workforce... because there are some 'youngsters' in the group... Some will have an easy go at finding work... others not-so much. Logically the freight needs to go somewhere - but that doesn't mean that they will need more employees where the freight goes... remember - other companies are using means of transport that don't require drivers and the like...

3. Has it completely escaped you that "the COMPANY" is the one that pays you? I get standing in a position of "the company is making billions of dollars in PROFIT and more than 1/2 of that is going into the pockets of the executives.. and the employees need to right that injustice"....I get that!!! - IS that what is happening here? - have YOU looked at the personal salaries of the top executive in this company over the last 5 years? Do you know what the MANAGEMENT you work along side each day make? Is it going up or down? Did Welch make more this year than last? Until YOU have these numbers in your brain and understand them... you can't 'fight' for more in an informed way. We all seem to have the same opinion that the company has made some grievous errors! I don't think you can find a management person anywhere that would disagree with that statement... no one that I have heard is standing up saying - "The company is running exactly the way we dreamed" Yeah US!! - ... What I do hear a lot of is - "The company is being run wrong and it needs to change!! Give me more (fill in blank)!" - How does that 'solve' the problem? Forget 'solving' how does that maintain the status quo? Give the teamsters their share... and close the doors. Vote NO... and close the doors. Vote yes... and have a job for a few more years in an improving economy... and find a better job... Vote NO and continue the fight... Vote yes and HOPE that is enough to keep the company running....

I would really like to understand how you gage my 'honesty' by my answering your question regarding my employment... Unless you think you can ask enough questions that you finally get to one I don't know the answer to that would 'signal' that I am not who I claim to be.... I'm nameless - faceless - words behind a screen... look around you... the people who are quiet, the ones who come to work, do their work, and don't seem to be noticed... THAT'S ME!! (Point in case - 6 months into my senior year of HS, I was sick... for a day.. came back and handed my teacher an "excuse" note... 6 months I've been in the same desk in his class and never missed a day "A-B" student - he looks at me and says "Are you in my class".... interesting feeling when your teacher doesn't know who you are in a graduating class of 90 people)

And further more - I've never asked anyone to believe me... I've just posed questions, made suggestions, and challenged your thought process... I've never said - HEY BELIEVE ME!! I KNOW SOMETHING!! :2437: I seek to obtain knowledge...

SinC,, example of what needs to change in this company, Buy a Rand McNally then purchase a ruler, find the closest distance between service centers, and stop all of these Mickey mouse change of operations, that do nothing but cost this company money and disrupt families lives. Disgruntled employees will doom a company!
