Yellow | YRC Worldwide in Talks With Teamsters on Revised Proposal

I just want the yes people to know that us no people weren't doing it to screw them out of a job. Think about everything that the company put out that isn't ringing true. This is one of those times that we have to stick together and hang tough. Thanks to KK and the rest of you who took a stand when the IBT chose not to.[/QUOTE It would be very tempting to say to all the yes voters "ha ha told you so!" But that would be childish so I will just say let the yes voters have their contract that's already been approved and the rest of us will see what we get on the next offer.

I am interested to see what they come up with that will satisfy the banks (SAVE $100MM / year) and the Teamster employees.

I feel you MUST restore wages and benefits to restore morale, but will have to layoff at least 4000 Teamsters to realize a net savings of 100MM. That's 4001 "NO" VOTES and more than enough "YES" votes to pass.

dream on restore wages and bennies lol:biglaugh::LMAO: almost pissed on myself lol wow not happening your kidding right ,

Don't get suckered into the walk in vote. Many at UPSF caved by the slick pressure presentation. If a re-vote is what the company and the IBT want...demand another mail-in.

This is labor negotiation 101......... first throw the turd-laden proposal on the table. If we bite, they jump for joy and go to the boobie bar to spend their bonus money. If voted down, come back with the perfumed turds you wanted all along, looking so much better than the first box of crap that it will probably pass. Teamsters will look at each other and say what a good deal they got etc.etc. We will probably lose something, and not all will be happy, (shut the doors guys) but stability may win out on this one. Just my opinion.

don't be all mad that your yes vote didn't happen.[/QUOmad u don't know me im not mad you high on drugs.............. dude.............. colkid what does that have to do with yes vote stick to the topicof the post your delusional or on drugs I just think you people are dreaming if you think youll get full wages an benefits isn't going to happen so go get another job some where else cause isn't going to happen at best will get same mou we got know with a little bone thrown in

I am trying to think like the bank and by doing this I believe the bank will do what-ever it has to do to get its money back from YRC......It would be more benefical for them to reduce the interest rate then to lose all of the principle and the interest....They will have to bend and so will YRC but the Rank and File have given enough......JMO

Im voting no to any extension!! The last one did nothing to knock down the debt. So why keep giving, so they can go shopping? NO EXTENSION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I know this is not mentioned much , but when you ask someone to make a sacrifice to save jobs don't farm out 6% of their work to J I P O S . That's not flexibility that insulting !!!!!:coffee1::coffee1:

We seem to be the victim of a long con. It was stated earlier, bad choice proposed, it gets shot down. Union blusters "See us in 2015!" Stock tumbles, Union rides in to save the day. Whatever we see from these meetings, was decided on before the earlier ballots were mailed. We have been taken for a ride on this one. This was all backdoor politics. I'm disgusted with the lot of them.

OUCH!!! So I wonder how many years you must have in to make the cut??

Yeah, well if the dreamers think they are going to get all of their givebacks back before they vote "yes", YRCW would have to lay off at least 1/5th of the workforce to realize the same cost savings. Even with all of the directors making $1 per year salary HUGE cuts need to happen.

Last time I saw the seniority list at 640, folks that were working all had close to 20years.

gateway you are a real ******* people voted what was presented. People VOTED! Let's hope all get what they need. This is why TB membership is DOWN !! All B.S and uninformed ONLY one with info I care about is KK
