The meeting is there is no meeting
There is no ball in court
The ball was the vote, why people can't accept the results of a vote in a democracy like the US baffles me
We refuse to accept what we yelled wore stickers and shirts and had avatars with signs for
People are meddling us continually posting fake straws for us to grab hope on
There are no straws, stop allowing ourselves to be mocked and meddled
Let's show dignity and that we can live with the decisions we made because upper management sure are going to live with their severance packages and liquidation bonuses
We stood tall till the end we gave and it wasn't enough
Hold your heAd up and be proud that you stood for something even if it fell
It's time to move on we are still strong, don't look weak and pathetic
We will be ok, there will be freight at other carriers when we close
Those that stay in freight will find other jobs, it may be with less benefits vacation and pay but you will survive
Us that may be through with freight and explore our other options will be ok as well, I'm still going to wear my teamster shirts and jackets at my own business,Thank God for the many years that the IBT was good to and for me
Thank God for the representation when we had it
I do wish we would have gotten representation on this one but we didn't
No love lost just a job lost
No different than if your wife or father burns down your house from a mishap

After ALL his post yesterdays I thought the world was going to end!!! By the way I don't know what he was going to accomplish with all the negative post yesterday...We are suppose to keep the customers, not drive them away... If it was me I know I would not be posting that anybody was going to close without proof!!!..

In the past Company's that go bankrupt will announce it after it happens, NOT BEFORE
 
I was just posting what seemed to be based on the current facts
No doubt about what I want the final outcome to be, you cant deny that
 
Furthermore,if you dont think Welch saw my post or someone told him that I lost my customer because of their silent crap yhen I don't know what world you live in, he saw I lost my customer and decided to get off his ass and come with a better deal we can vote on, one Ican vote yes to, bbelieve me I want to vote yes so bad but I just cant if its not negotiated, or if its a slap in the face of teamster pride, so yes Ihad a nnegative post but I stated the facts of why things seemed to be that way, I lost a customer and I want em back, those burgandy pro label s need to be blue or grey, bottom line, now things seem to be more bright, nothing but smiles from me

I do understand your frustrations... And I do believe upper management needs to know, just be careful how you do it... You don't want to scare any customers away... YRCW needs every customer they have to survive!!!
 
You're welcome now lets just pray we get something to vote yes to because I still will vote no to some crock of bs, if it don't look like the teamsters got a hand in the negotiations im changing my avatar to one like tutone 710, a face with a no sign

I agree, no more negativity from me, the dead silence on such an important situation made me post what things seemed like, I can live with my vote but the way this was being handled was so elementary from the top, people who clearly dont have our best interest in mind were mocking us and meddling and we were wasting time, I was ready to move on and venting on the way out but no doubt id rather stay, but either way I wont say ugly negative stuff about the company or the union, judt what it seemed like was going on

So really - it almost seems like you will say yes to anything as long as the UNION says they "negotiated" it?
