ABF | Teamsters Announce Tentative Agreement With YRCW!

sad state of affairs,, shut em down!!!! NO means No!!! Want to make non union wages and bankrupt a pension,, go work a non union job... We at ABF thank you for putting our pension in crisis ..
 
Details of the revised proposal will be reviewed at a meeting of local union officials to be held on Tuesday, Jan. 21. It is up to that committee to approve sending the revised proposal to the membership for a ratification vote.

And who wants to bet it's a big ol' "U" (unanimous) YES to send it to the membership for a vote? This is a joke, nothing funny about it, a joke.

At least they haven't tried the "vote until you get it right" trick with the original proposal......They'll have to change a few adverbs and move a few punctuation marks around,......put a little more "lipstick" on that pig of a proposal,......and call it a "new" proposal. Stand Tall YRC Brothers!

Its going to stay the same till 2019, they read these boards & know what the people want. I cant believe they let that last proposal go up for vote without saying a word.... What a bunch of cowards, my dues go towards health coverage not representation....
 
YRC employees need to grow a set of balls. stop bringing down the entire industry you spineless "Teamsters"

We need change, fire Hoffa and the rest. With teamster money involved, Hoffa and YRC will take us all down. Hang on boys it's a race to the bottom. We should only pay 20 bucks for the sorry representation we receive. Sad how Sad.

thats what I have been telling my wife for some time now. My dues pay for our healthcare, but not representation. At least the healthcare coverage is great for the time being.
 
And let's not forget the pension. Although we don't know what, exactly, it will turn out to be $7/hr into it is a nice piece of change. Now I would rather have it in my pocket to invest but I don't see that happening.
 
Since they closed so many terminals, some of us have to commute to work. Some drive over 100 miles per day. They want some us to drive 100 miles to the union hall to place our vote. I'm not that important. YRC is spelled backwards.
