Plan B How are you going to Vote?

I am leaning toward a Yes vote, money wise I am accustomed to living on what I am making now, the Gov. will control my pension by the time I can retire so no reason to get all upset over that (I do) but whats the use. plus the biggest thing is I just don't want to work for a known Sc_b outfit because I like to comb my hair the way I want without having to worry about being fired. We have given concessions but personally I would rather work here than somewhere else and be the bottom of the board with no bennies or vacation. I know I would eventually get benefits and vacation but I already have some bennies and 5 weeks vacation. therefore I am voting Yes.

Only a guess on my part, but I really believe the purchased transportation would be used to help out with heavily unbalanced lanes. That way the company could partially eliminate running empties where that is a common practice on certain lanes. If there is adequate protection for seniority road men and their runs, this may not be such a bad thing. Running empty miles does nothing to help the bottom line.
No, they'll use it to to keep from paying YRC workers every dime possible.

Doesn't make it true just because you say it in big red letters.

Not paying to run empties as long as seniority runs are protected is a good thing. Smarten up.

People should vote how they want, it's your right and it's too late to sway people with their minds fixed but the fact is that as long as there is an available driver no subcontractor will be used and no one can be laid off for a sub to be used, the union must be notified, read the proposal, almost 5 of the 11 pages explains this

Keep voting yes and they will come after that comb... Not only will your job be a mess, your hair will be too.

I'm voting yes. Tired of all this bickering back and forth. Everyone needs to get life and be glad you still got a job. If you don't like it, you've got 2 choices --- stay or quit. Check out the non- union carriers, I believe the no voters will have secund thoughts.

Totally agree with you, im voting yes as well.

No way to police this. Just because they say they won't use more does not mean they will comply. must have a way to monitor other than asking an owner operator to get out of his truck & come in the building & sign in & out because it is union rules.

I'm smart enough to know better and not sell out my brothers. If you think this about drivers not running empty miles or for the sake of gaining lanes you couldn't be more wrong and it's you that needs to wise up.

I would assume that we would enforce it ourselves. If you see (or think) the company is violating the contract on a certain run then report it.

Your remarks indicate that you haven't read and understood the "purchased transportation" section of the proposal.

But I do appreciate you coming on here and attempting to show me how you're "smart enough to know better". :LMAO:

It's you that obviously doesn't understand that section and the past practices of this company. I get the feeling you would sell out pretty easy though.

Your "feelings" are of no concern to me. Neither are your opinions of what I do or don't understand.

instead of giving away the jobs they love COO so much why dont they just fix what they screwed up with there last few coo

You people that are voting yes, do any of you realize that the company is contributing nothing to your pension, (im sorry a quarter credit)plus what is this wage goin to feel like in 2019 with these bogus wage increases. Inflation will kill everything and then some. For what? To keep a job. Are we that afraid of looking for other work? My gosh some on here act as if this is the only gig in town. You can go and do anything, yet here we are talking about how we don't want to look for other work. The fools at the top put us in this mess. The company is bankrupt, plain and simple, yet you all want to give these fools more of YOUR hard earned money to **** away. I know how I'm voting. NO
