Plan B How are you going to Vote?

Dont get worked over some of these clowns. Some of these people are drooling for the day YRC closes just so they get a better bid and seniority at ABF and other companies. And none of their rhetoric is going to change the outcome anyhow. This vote will be a landslide yes vote.
Ignorance is bliss. I laugh at those who think they know it all when they know nothing. You know nothing about any of us, our seniority, our bids etc. yet you claim we think we have it better if YRC closes. You couldn't be farther off base than you are.

Just a little heads up from the outside.. I resigned from New Penn on the 16th of January..18 years of service.. I took a new job and started Jan 5th.. OMG.. Can't believe someone actually hired me.. But they did.. Maybe the 20 year resume from the same employer had something to do about it.. Union job.. Bottom of the list..the whole 9 of doom and gloom!! Here's the bottom line.. BEST F&$@ING MOVE I EVER MADE!! Don't fret my brothers.. There are jobs out there!! You just need to go hunt again... Btw freight isn't the only place looking for drivers.

If I had a vote... Hmmmmmm... NO

Follow Da Monie, what kind of total phony are you? Your post above says you resigned from New Penn on January 16th and you also say "If I had a vote....etc." Then why did you cast a "No" vote on this poll? What a loser!

The language in this MOU protects local drivers...no outside or purchase transport with any laid off worker...and the 6% and rail language is already in the current contract and has been and is being used now...I vote yes! local 9 years...road 1 year

I'm voting No! Just like the prior 3 proposal's since 2008-09.
Double-dipping on vacation pay. They take 15% off the top now.
With gross earnings of $60k they will take another $130 from each week of vacation pay.

My barn already utilizes cartage and/or casual labor without increasing the seniority roster.
Which one of you have policed the total percentage of rail miles from the prior MOU?
Who is going to police/oversee the "6%" of PTS contractors?

More good Teamster jobs down the drain. No jobs have been saved.
Our membership has only declined since the closure of 400+ barns. Stands at 265 now.

My question now is, IF yrc returns in 2 years to complain of poverty, will you stand tall or cower again?

Yeah that would be a NO vote. Your not suppose to pay to work for someone, besides Welch was giving a $400,000.00 raise in March of 2013 but we should have a pay Freeze?! Really what's wrong with that picture?????

Really you write them a check every week just to drive their equipment?

your suppose to say..........PERIOD! after that.
I'm on the bottom of my board so its the end of my job if it gets voted in.
I'm voting no & see what plan C is.
Thanks

Why am I supposed to say period after that?
Now we get to the heart of the matter... you don't think you will have a job no matter which way this goes, so you have nothing to lose!!

I have to tell you I barely stayed on the board after the first second third, cutbacks, dovetailing etc... but I always believed the job was worth saving for whomever was lucky enough to get it.....

Just saying.
