Yellow | Some Interesting Facts That Happened At 318 Bolingbrook

You are right and for that, I'm sorry. Have you seen some of the postings on here? Some really are "snarky" and my assumption was that your comment was in the same tone.

We're cool, no problem. I just never saw that phrase that's all.

I believe alot of us including me are missing the point.I know you and the rest of us are wondering what happened to the 3.4bil dollars we lent them over the years? In all the history of the freight business.YRCW has spent an olympian record amount of our give back money.Comparatively speaking about other freight companies. They havent even came close to the 3.4bil expenditures of yrcw.Something is dead serious wrong here.Blame it on mismanagement or whatever. Most supervisors on the dock only make about 25k a year. And other salaried workers are a little better but not enough to have dented that 3.4billion.I suspect but i do not know for a fact. That somewhere in this organization there has been some wrongdoings.Cmon how does 3.4bil just disappear and nobody has an answer for us?When that kind of money disappears one would have to really suspect something. This isnt the kind of money that you can drop into a kitty litter box and cover up with sand.If this company goes to BK court. The presiding judge will ask for records of all accounting.I think this is where some folks will be getting a tad bit nervous.Sooooo to stave off BK we have this little vote you see. With a yes vote. The damage will not be divulged. Then they can go into this little refi game.So why would you vote yes to something and practically esponge any wrongdoers and then give them more of our money and rights?Beats me.All the company will be doing is kicking the can down the road.the company still has that 1.4billion debt that has never been paid down.It was 1.4 billion a few years ago.No accusations to anyone.Excuse me 3.4billion dollars is missing.what say you all?

My guess it is in the YRC branch bank in the Cayman Islands, or it is buried in the parking lot at the Ridge.

Why don't we organize a search party on our days off? That way we can get to the bottom of this once and for all.

Losses have dropped from $250 million to $50 million if I remember right. Think that was the last couple years. If management is so bad, how did that happen? Granted, there are more stupid things being done daily, and the economy still sux. Yeah, there is no respect, because reducing cost has been so important. But we still jam and cram freight, for lload average, and pay 30 million in claims dollars. Save OTR dollars to give it up in claims.
Does that mean that if you cut Harry Wilson's company out of the picture it's a profit?

Heading over to albags house to pick him up. Have shovels and wheel barrow in truck with me in case we find money in lot.

So the company that sells you a car can restart your note to zero paid and you will start over whenever they desire? Good attitude to have. The banks really appreciate your business. Instead of you financing a car for 5 years the would love to start you over and have you paying ten.

The original MOU said they could and would fix the debt in five years which is why many voted yes the first time. (I did vote NO then also because I saw this coming) Now they are saying the same thing and the sheep that are scared of any type of fight are saying "OK, we will not fight, please take what you want and leave us alone." Grow a pair already!!!

Again - as has been stated, not by me, but by others -

You are not in any way shape or form "financing" this company - and if YOU are, then just cut the interest rate, write out a new note and fix everything yourself.

What YOU are doing is showing up for work daily and getting paid a wage to do it. You are not being asked to work for longer for the same wages you have already been given. (which would be an analogy you are trying to make with the car payment thing) You are being asked to work under a different contract then you have already accepted....

Please I beg of you - point out to me where the original MOU said they could and would fix the debt. I have EVERY page of 'propaganda' - contracts and negotiations from the last 16 years in a notebook all chronologically placed and tabbed... so if you can just tell me the page and date - I'll look it up.

Yes, I'm that organized...I have a binder filled with sale prices of every house in my neighborhood thru the rise and fall of the housing market... I like data.... :)

I'm going to try to explain this in a way that makes sense to you.... (no disrespect intended)

1. A company projects earnings. They cannot 'see the future' they make projections. YRCW projected a certain amount of income. (They did not earn that amount of income)
2. The economy was falling - competition was fierce - they 'missed estimates' - earnings began to fall and expenses stayed steady... (except for the loss in employees) but we all know now that the company makes money on TONNAGE... the more they can haul the more they make... - I.E. it takes a set amount of fuel to move a truck from point a to point b. NO MATTER HOW MUCH THE COMPANY GROSSES ON THE LOAD... less in the truck means they might not even break even on the deal.
3. The company didn't ask for a "loan" from you - you did not 'loan' them 3.4 billion dollars. You accepted pay cuts and pension contribution cuts to keep the company in business
4. 3.4 billion didn't 'disappear' it was never here to be had. YRCW used to make 9 billion now they are at what 5billion - there is your 4 billion right there - it was never earned....
5. The IBT hired someone who went thru all the books and agrees with the companies findings. - So if there is a conspiracy to hide 3.4 billion and they got the independent contractor for the UNION in on it.. what makes you think they won't get the BK judge in on it too? Pay him 400 mill and he sees nothing. :)
6. The debt was LESS a few years ago and has been GROWING over the last few years, because the company has been losing 250 million a year... which has been cut to a 50 million loss in the latest year on record.

7. Please, I beg of you, find someone to talk to who can actually show you what all of this means... I feel so bad that you don't seem to understand all of this stuff...

8. The 3.4 billion that you so desperately want to find is in the same place as the "equity wages" on your check... you asking "where it went" of the company is like the IRS grabbing your pay stub and demanding to know why you didn't pay them taxes on that money... after all - it was on your pay stub....

Best of luck to you! :)

Yeah... I have that problem too.. sometimes you will even see someone making a "SinC did you get the sarcasm in that" comment... LOL

Does that mean that if you cut Harry Wilson's company out of the picture it's a profit?

UMM sure cause 50 million loss cut by 5.5 million payout, not paid, would be -44.5 million.... and the way we do math out here - Sure we could call that a profit... :)

Sounds good, count me in. Do we get a finders fee?

Don't leave without me... I have to find all the busses between here and there an map out a route that will keep me away from them... give me a week or two.. LOL

I was actually honestly asking you a question... was trying to figure out if it was you or another poster... I don't really keep up with "who said what" I just remember what was said... Sorry to have irritated you... that was not my intent.

I will refrain from asking you questions.. if I can remember who you are...

Perfect!!!!!!

I think you might be on the low side of the supervisor pay estimate, way low lol.
Don't have an issue with it at all because most are working in the same conditions, same crappy hours as all of us.
After immediate supervisors, you probably don't want to know. :)
