Are you sure they aren't leasing these forklifts? And the scales will pay for themselves with W&R in no time I'd think! Also how does everyone know what these scales and lifts cost? Did they leave the receipt on the seat?

Just hear say..... I guarantee there not free..... Why do you all cut yourselves short.... You all are just as important and more so as the equipment... Right or wrong I just don't get it.

If your home is in foreclosure you don't put a new roof on it or replace the flooring. If your vehicle is going to get repossessed you don't put new tires on it before they take it! It doesn't make sense why the company is spending all this money on new equipment if they feel the doors could be shut in a week!!!

Maybe,,,, Maybe,,,, Maybe..... Hell, if you are that old "Maybe" you have Alzheimer's and forgotten this is still a Union Company... "Maybe" you have forgotten that not only do you have to invest in equipment.... You also have to invest in your employees.... We are the ones that operate that equipment.

The only "facts" you have are what YRC allows you to have.

( What you and everyone else "deserves" is what the majority agree to in a contractual agreement) That is the best statement you have ever posted.

By the way.... I was very well blessed with common sense.... Maybe a little less on book sense,,, but I get by and always will.

You haven't responded to any of the "maybe" situations I mentioned have you? You make a bunch of comments and then when challenged on them you don't respond, you just make some asinine comment about Alzheimer's.

We all know YRCF is a union company. Would they be the first union company to go bankrupt and shut the doors? Does being a union company somehow prevent them from having financial issues? Does their being a union company mean that they will forever and always pay you what you want to be paid no matter what happens? Wake up from your dream land.

My facts don't come exclusively from YRC. They come from a variety of places that I research before I make a decision. Do you look at facts or do you make your decisions based on your anger and resentment?

As I said, vote any way you feel is right. We'll all see the consequences very soon. And I hope you never come down with Alzheimer's either.

Typical vapid response containing nothing of substance. But if it makes you feel good, go for it.

Sometime hard to accept, but there are people out there that are happy to have a job here. They may have come from a truckload carrier and this was a huge jump up as far as pay and benefits.

Triplex, how do you suppose I answer your "Maybe this" or "Maybe that".... "Maybe" you missed the part that I am just a "Freight Relocating Specialist"... I do not know the circumstances as to why they have purchased new scales and a new yard horses.... I do know the circumstances on how they plan to pay for such purchases.

Would they be the first Union Company to go bankrupt and shut the doors: No they would not.... Are they going to go bankrupt and shut the doors.... I don't think so... You nor I know the answer to that... You can only assume that you do.

Does being a Union Company somehow prevent them from having financial issues: No sir, it does not.... Being a Union Company can "prevent" them from taking and taking and taking from us Union members because of their miss management..... As I have stated before.... We could give 50% of our wages, if they do not know what to do with it, we are done... We cannot fix poor management... They have to.

Does their being a Union Company mean that they will forever and always pay you what you want to be paid no matter what happens: No they do not as long as they have enough yes voters willing to give and give.

Wake up from your dream land: No dream land of mine.

Facts, facts, facts.... Again... Fact is YRC has enough money for whatever they need except enough money to pay the employees that make that money for them, and yes we are a very important part of YRC's success.... Yes they need to invest in us as well as investing in equipment.... Without us there would be no YRC.

I have no anger toward you or YRC.... I am disgusted with the fact the Company I work for blames their failures on the employees and keeps asking us to bale them out of their bad decisions.... If you are never held accountable for your mistakes, you are bound to keep making them

I appreciate your concern of my health... If you do not have Alzheimer's, I hope you never do as well.

Sorry, did I miss something..... Who said anything about you wanting a new tractor.... Hell, we all do.... I do not remember having a conversation about how many miles we run.... I must be losing it.

I don't know the financials of those acquisitions either, but I won't hold them up as examples of them trying to hurt us either.

I don't assume that I KNOW that they will. I gather and evaluate all the information I can digest and come up with a probability of them doing so. After having done all that I believe the probability of a bankruptcy (if the MOU is again rejected) is extremely high, almost certain.

We're not being asked to give up 50% of our wages and you know that would never happen. And they are not "taking" from us, we agreed to allow the reductions. YRC absolutely does not have enough money for whatever they need. Shortcuts are being taken with replacement and maintenance of all kinds of equipment to be sure. Of course they need us and we are vitally important to their success, no question about that. I never saw anywhere that they are blaming us for their current predicament. They are asking us for help in getting back on track, that's all.

I would never wish any bad health on anyone for any reason. I thank you for your good wishes also.

Right On Brother!! You hit it right on the head! YRC has plenty of money for whatever and whoever except for the employees who move the freight! Without us they have no business!

All the talk of new forklifts and scales for me exciting and thinking tractors are next, I'm just trying to see some light at the end of a very long tunnel!

Maybe the guy with the pressure washer was there when he wasn't, and it is the same equipment cleaned up?

So the comments are about no money to pay employees, but there IS money to buy some equipment?

Seems that is a partial answer to what happened to the $3 billion we gave them. Also been seeing new trailers, some shiny white tractors. Remember, we gave them no cash, the givebacks just reduced the amount of cash they spent on payroll.

The information that you gather and evaluate is information that YRC allows you and the media to gather and evaluate "Period"..... YRC is and always will be corporate greed at its finest.... Again, I will ask "why" is it ok with investors for Welch and company to receive raises and bonuses and not ok for us employees to receive the same.

Again, if everyone were giving up something for this Company I would view this differently..... Until that happens.... "I will vote no".... "They are no damn better then I am".

The outcome of the future of this Company relies solely on the Company.... " Not Us".
