Either that or they are hoping that freight magically explodes next week either way I hope next week is better then this week only worked 3 days all week and some guys only worked 1 trip for the entire week.

End of the month just not sure how busy they expect to be at the end of January. Its almost never busy. Unless they are thinking that by delaying the runs they will be able to cancel some of them at the last minute.

Management says that this delay allows the dock workers more time to build more direct loads when it is busy.
What ever it takes. I'm just thankful that there is work...

They can have black out weeks 12 months in advance but they hold drivers 2 hours because they can't predict freight levels 24 hours in advance.???

I don't like the 2 hour delays. But really, it's a minor thing. I get something extra done on Friday whatever that something is. My weekends are too short wether I have those extra 2 hours or 2 extra days off work. I just try to keep things out of my control in a perspective that I can live easily with the issue. Helps keep this old guy's BP down lol.
