To my brothers and sisters who speak so much of these greener grasses away from the dreadfull, gut wrenching, automatically doomed Titanic YRC, hurry to those greener grasses because everybody knows about em now, hurry before all 20 some thousand of em are eaten up, surely yon won't stay at a place that you hate so much, surely you won't continue to be represented by a union you hate so much
Leave us who know no better because we still Love and appreciate our Union who has and still do so much and always stand to protect and preserve our jobs and the best we can negotiate with the circumstances at the time, we know that when times are good we negotiate favorable terms and when times are bad the terms may not be as good but we live to make it through
You may call us dumb spineless and weak but when you go to all those greener grasses if you take less or don't demand at least what you had here then call yourself the same
Call yourself the same if you stay and continue to hate and complain
We would love for you to stay if you aren't going to try to make us join in with your hate and rage but surely you aren't staying if you hate it so much
Who does that
Anyway good bye, save us a spot in the greeners since you care so much about us since you pray for where we want to be to go away
I'm staying but tell us about it
Bye

I just got a job with 4 weeks vacation, full benefits,no weekend work, great holiday, and sick pay!!! I can't wait to start. This grass is greener when at YRC now that we don't have to declare bankruptcy. I am thankful to everyone who realized this is the best thing going forward.

Lets see if you are singing the same tune in 2015 when the company is knocking on the door for more concessions......The real big payment will be due then and the crap will hit the fan... Trust me they will be coming back for more......NUFF SAID.....

refi of the 2015 payments was one of the main resons for all of this. I'm sure you knew this if you actually did any research at all. or did you just vote useing frustration and emotion?

Its much greener for me, it dident take long to find a job. you keep saying how are 26,000 people going to find work? You have to start looking to find.... All this does is put a band aid on a bullet wound....

I know for a fact that this special financing will require a few lump sum payments and if the economy tanks then YRCW will have their backs against the ropes and will have no choice but to come back for more concessions......You sound like everything will just be rosey and sugar plums will dance through everyone heads but trust this they will come back for MORE!!!!!!!!!!.........Nuff Said.....

I would like to say to all you gloom and doom prophets, the yes voters may have just helped YRCW kick the can down the road another year or two, but, if $370 million gets paid down on the debt, and the balance gets re-financed at a lower rate, they will have breathing room. The current multi-employer pension laws are set to expire this year, and the pension liabilities will get addressed. Most likely, they will be able to finance those obligation over the next 30 years, with most of the interest gong into the funds. It is possible, that in 4 years, YRCW will be in much better shape. That is why the lenders are willing to hedge their bets on the outfit and not call the notes and force a liquidation. At the very least, the yes voters gave you the opportunity to seek for better employment, while you are STILL employed...You can move on, trust me, I did....after 25 years. I do appreciate the initial NO vote, and the Union's silence on the first proposal, but the company had to ask for the stars, hoping for the moon, it's a NEGOTIATION! The UNION forced them to sweeten the deal before they would re-vote. The more you guys can keep over there at YRCW, the more we can try to bargain for here at ABF. These Union jobs are still the best in the industry. Take your signing bonus, and put it in the before tax 401K that was set-up when you got your stock from the last deal unless you just desperately need the money. If you leave later, you can always do a roll-over at your new employer...they will have NO pension of any kind...good bad or indifferent...ONLY a 401k, but you will have a head start. If you stay, put what you can in you 401k and start building another nest egg to supplement your pension, especially if you are young or have at least 10 more years until retirement. Best of luck....with all the new technology,..this new band aid material may stick....and hold the water out of the Titanic...time to start bailing like HELL!

The real big payment is what the banks are refinancing but im not going to wonder or ask anymore why you want do bad for so many people, ill just wonder who you pray to and accept you for who you are

You have to understand that im just as happy as you are that yku are doing well for yourself and your family, thats your choice you made and no one of us would ever stand in the way of that, find in yourself to see the same for us, we want to be here, yes we want things to be better but nevertheless we choose to stay and work on it just as you would a marriage a child or anything else that was good and not as good as yesterday, but enjoy my brother im happy for you

Hey man just keep praying about it and worrying about it because we're not, you see doom and gloom and we see a future that has a brighter light than today, im gonna keep a positive outlook for my family and my brothers that want the same peace that many others enjoy, all we want is to work to provide for our home church and community, we not asking, we actually giving but what I would like to see is sugar and plums for you but no hard feelings

All the people saying everyone should have voted no did any of you get laid off in 08 or 09 and your pay get cut in half. Well I did and it wasn't good I lost a lot of stuff I worked hard to get also I was gone 30 to 45 days before I could get home. So if you don't like the outcome and hate working at yrc then pack your sh*t and please don't let the door hit your a $$ on the way out .NUFF SAID

Thanks man, its a journey getting back to normal emotions after all this but I think upper management gets it loud and clear this time, but with the point across and the much much favorable financial terms we're getting now and so much time for yhe drama to settle it looks a hell of a lot better than yesterday, some may not see it but we need each other whether we like it or not

All the guys that said they voted selfishly are the same ones that will cross a picket line, Or the first one to ***** when someone does. Just remember those guys are only doing it for their family too! Watch your backs gentlemen.
