It would be interesting to know if this was Fed Ex Freight or Fed Ex " Ground ".. Big difference in the quality of drivers. Either way, this is horrible and my prayers go to all involved.
I went over there, and yes many of the comments are out of line. I feel for the families of those that lost their lives. This is horrible. Made the mistake of visiting the "Truckers Report" Today. Some of the comments are Pathetic!
This is a very sad situation and now witnesses are saying Fedex was on fire when he came through the median. The news just keeps getting worse.
Seems eye witnesses are surfacing with their accounts of this horrific crash.

Wrench97 has an insightful comment about these newer designs over on the YRC Board thread about this tragedy. It's not just the low sulfur fuel. Check it out.Maybe just my opinion, that burn-outs in most trucking crashes are the result of fuel additives required by law.
Due to years of environmental wackoes whining to the government to make trucks safer.
Why I remember back in the days before additives were mandated,I saw with my own eyes.
When a mechanic tossed a lit stick match in a bucket of diesel & it smoldered a bit, then flickered out.
Now days the least little spark will cause diesel to ignite.
I think folks need to find a hobby to occupy their minds & leave the trucking industry alone.
