So WHY are they parking all the 48' trailers , when we are short of trailers and we are paying to RENT trailers cause we are short ??? the 48' trailers are paid for and in way better shape then the old junk Redstar ones , and we are giving back -15% pay to help save money BUT they park these ones and spend money RENTING ones ???? :argue::
 
8 out of 10 trailers I pull on my run are 48's. Most of them are
fairly decent trailers!! Fairly I said, some are fairly bad as well!
 
At the rate the old RedStar trailers are falling apart, they are probably just going to let those run until they are none left

Let's see Redstar went out ten years ago and those trailers were garbage then.. Amazing you guys are still using them..

Parking all 200000 on fence and they have began to remove all branding from trailers. Trying to rent every rental they can get in memphis but not many available. Who knows.

Yeah , see that is the point , WHY are they parking trailers that are PAID for & spending our -15% to rent trailers ???

Most of these trailers are old and are costing the company a lot of money in upkeep and breakdowns. Also there should be putting 600 new trailers into the system this year. Any trailer under the #500000 should be sold. This is what I'm hearing.

Yet the 309, 339, 609 series trailers are still around. And the 48x series yellow garbage is used as well

BUT WHEN are these NEW trailers coming ?? maybe wait till they show up , so we still have trailers to use ??? kinda like the so called new trucks coming to ??? last we heard the Tooth Fairy is bringing them ??? thats all we here is new trucks & trailers coming ??? Blah Blah Blah

It's simple. They are sell the best of the old stuff first. 207, 206, 208 and the Red Star junk goes for penny's on a dollar. I asked the same ? You ask me and that was their reply.
