Biz as usual this weekend dock getting loads out drivers working all good ?? Are you there ?? What's the mood of the drivers ??
 
Ok, here is the word from reliable NCT employee on site today at Westhampton yard. Freight was coming in and going out. NCT trucks were getting loaded and turned back out. FUEL ISLANDS WERE OPEN at Westhampton as well as Willingboro. Employee was told business as usual....see you Monday. I hope this helps quell some of the rumors that are running rampant with regard to NCT. Obviously NCT is trying to over come what ever predicament they have found themselves in. Lets hope they find the fix to bring this troublesome period to an end sooner than later.
 
They need to have a meeting Monday all hands and let the employees know what going on. They sure had the time during the union elections
 
Skullduggery you do not have the ability to see the future and know the outcome . Your post is just adding fuel to the rumor-mill and not necessary

Reliable...What a F-in joke. Bounced the check to the fuel supplier. 700 Grand or so.
Sure would be Funny to have the "Pied Piper" of Trucking, Inventer of "The System",
Master of the Universe, Cruise into town in His Old Blue Jevic Truck and save the Day.
I heard it said before some where..I Quote."It's OVER JONNY"
The only tune the Pied Piper came into town to play is Taps. F- New Century.
I hope he pumps Millions in and it ALL Dissapears.

If the fuel is flowing and the pick ups are coming in... And loads are going out.....wouldn't that be GOOD news? Why do you want this company to fail ? This is our jobs on the line here!! Not saying there perfect, cause there not. But sounds like you want this to end ....are you a driver ? Guess we will know soon enough , and if I learn on Monday I don't have a job I'll be as pissed off as you, but until we know for sure.. At least show Some kind hope here..
 
Reliable was in describing where the information was coming from..... further in my post I stated "NCT was obviously in a predictament....as Bayer Driver posted "these are employee jobs" they and their families depend on these jobs. As employees they are well aware of the precarious position. The stress they and there families are under with regard to the uncertainties in this whole NCT situation.
Post like yours serves no greater good! I on the other hand was trying to give truthful info. (for employees who were not at the terminal this weekend) No one knows what the future for NCT is but I do know most of the employees (my husband included) hope they can get out of the hole they are in. Make the changes that need to be made to continue and be around for a long time to come.
You on the other hand can take your ill will, negative, derogatory butt and just go to.....

i have varification that a bunch of customers were told of "a restructuring" . no freight wuld be given to partner carriers......local rep...not answering his phone....so, right...this is busines as usual....no communication.
 
I cannot think of a trucking company that gave "notice" they were going out of business, drivers would come back from linehaul runs to find the gates locked a note saying Good Luck, customers freight stuck in the system never to be delivered. NCT will be no different, they want the BOL so they can factor them before anybody catches on.
 
sumdum gets it...why all the excuses for Harry Houdini...money disappears around this boss like an anchor in quicksand. do not want drivers and our families to be without jobs...of course not but stop drinking the Harry kool ade. he may be able to sell ice to an eskimo but he can't manage money and company. spend into a whole just like at jevic. yellow bailed him there. with nct he gets 60 million from jeffries with his snake oil charm and its off to the races. buy 2 loser, going bankrupt companies, western fw and PnP. when the economy went bust, no money left to carry nct thru. the old guard blames harry's managers and team...guess whose bidding they were doing. reality check, if harry does anything to fix whatever happened last week it will only be for his benefit and it will only be short term...very well could be the fuel issue. the pumps were totally blocked. like one asked y"day about pumping fuel out...the drop pad was totally blocked...stop fuel re-po? very well could be. who knows? the company never shares much with us, good or bad. i've made my arrangements for the future...and if other drivers are worried they may not want to wonder from week to week and do something now. bouncing a check or any fuel payment issue is a major issue for a company. drivers take care of yourselves and families first...ol pal harry does. good luck

I can't think of any company that gives notice of doors closing... Except ones where the owners planned to close their businesses. This is not the case here or for any other business that finds themselves in the red and needing financial infusion. Some find the financing some do not. .... The employees and families affected by what is happening at NCT are hoping that NCT can.... but also know what could be . As the saying goes "its not over till the fat lady sings" and at this time she hasn't sung her last song yet and when she does we will know it.

There are plenty to blame and point fingers at. ..... but we all know that is not going to serve a purpose at this time. I don't care who may come to NCT's aid, but will be happy if they do. I know my husband is not looking forward to starting over with another company after 24 yrs w/ Jevic & NCT . ..but if that is what is in the cards then he will play what he is dealt. I know he doesn't want to throw in his hand before all the cards are dealt though. God only knows for a good driver there are many companies that will have an open door for him and others.
Your latest post is all that we can do at this junction... prepare for the worst and hope for the best.

Word is that high ups sent email out that all company credit cards have been cancelled. That's got to mean something. They can't be expecting to recover if they want people to destroy their credit cards. And, there is no new drivers coming on this week. It's happening folks. This week sheet's going down.
