Chapter 7 or Chapter 11?

Here is a summary:
*permanent shutdown - chapter 7
*begins June 9th - you will be separated from employment on June 9, 2014 or up to 14 days thereafter
*no bumping rights exist
*direct questions to Terrence Gilbert (CEO) today. after today check their website

Then a notification form under the Millville Dallas Airmotive Plant Job Loss Notification Act came attached. This is what they consider their prenotification.

summary of that form:
*termination of operations
*employee rights - right to wages - yes
right to severance pay - no
right to pensions - no
right to benefits - no

WOW i have a workmans comp bill they did not pay yet i guess im getting screwd on that also. And i have to cancel all my DR apts for July. Im wating on my mail to come. If i get it ill post it asap.
 
if you were on the inhouse workmans comp with kevin , i would call a lawyer asap. do not wait. i got seriously hurt almost 3 yrs ago and didn't allow kevin to put me thru his "system" got attorney and got care and treatment i needed. 2 minor surgeries on arm, 1 major on neck-spinal . shoulder still pending 1 more opinion. hope not to late for you njeasylife. good luck.

Its only the one bill. and i think it is only it is like 169.00 Ill have to check and see if it was paid yet.

That's good for you. Mine is almost @000. Kevin said he would pay it back in Feb. and again in March and again in April. It was never paid
